yar donot make this issue on india forum...yeh i felt too... but discussint here is only creating bad impact on her fans...
secondly...she look beautiful...not vulgar or something...if any fat or little over weight girl would wear that then it would look bad...but for me ..personaly...she looked stunning...
secondly...kumud was also wearing such dresses no one had complaint against her...thats not fair...
first time i have read such comment under an article related to rangrasiya which was by any sanaya hater...or probably...some madhubala fan...who was bashing her ...i feel very bad...the best way is to sent message to the person related...they would need our feed back..if we donot like then they would not do such thing...
you should tweet nautanki or abinav shukla...or related person...who could do something..but we cannot...
over all...i am loving this drama...and sanaya and ashish are looking excellent together..its sanaya magic that every hero looks good with her...i like her acting as khushi ,gunjan and as paro,..love her...

Why are so many people complaining about her outfits?! Seems like they'll only be happy if she wears a shuttlecock burka in the next episode 😕 At least then she'll be covered head to toe and ya'll can comfortably watch the show with you're families.

Have to agree with you here. I myself think that she (Paro) is dressed provocatively and ordinarily people do not walk around like that. But then it is not against sanaya personally. Like someone said the other two girls are dressed nicely. Why can't they make Paro dress like that. I am sure she still will be extremely good looking and way apart in her class compared to all the other girls...It just does not look right. It is the costume designer's/make-up man's fault- not sanaya's.
The second point is we cannot express here anything without people jumping on you saying we are regressive. If you want the girl to be dressed properly or in a widow's attire, It does not mean we want Paro to be submissive or to suffer. Its the depiction of a village girl in the story. You would expect certain things from a village girl. People can express their opinions about it without having to worry about looking like we are some kind of old fashioned ladies imposing strict rules on womanhood...

Okay, I'm seeing this thread after really long and I just noticed this post. My bad. Otherwise I'd have replied earlier/.

Reg feminism, you're right. It is about the freedom to express opinions, but that is also a basic human right. Not anything to do with oppression. The thing is, I just get irritated with this "feminism perceived wrongly". Just stop bringing in feminism because not everyone is on the same plane w.r.t their definition of feminism. It is ironic that you put the idea that cover yourself coz you're making others uncomfortable, and these supposedly feminist views. It is just this dichotomy I cannot get in people.

The other thing is, this is probably the 11/28/40/60 odd time such a post is appearing. Come on, has this not been discussed to death already? It isn't about just being regressive. It becomes a much more engaging statement when you bring in such external arguments.

Lastly, I agree my tone earlier was too clipped. Just too bored of the same topic. I snapped. Sorry!
Peace all!😳

i am finally glad that they have started covering her properly. ( one side of the choli is still not covered by dupatta but it seems today's fashion. )
somebody here said that ppl will be satisfied only if she wears shuttlcock burkha.

no my friend . its not like that.

woman doesn't need burkha to cover herself properly.

see its the dress. when u were jeans and top , if the top is not too tight, it doesn't need dupatta or stole. u look dignified with a decent top which is not too tight or too loose.

but when u were ghagra choli, u should put the dupatta either like a pallu of sari ( which paro is doing now a days and looking very decent ) or put the dupatta on both shoulders like salwar khamiz. .

in any case ur choli and tummy shd be covered.

i am a woman.
and i feel that we shd not give an opportunity to men to oggle at us with bad intentions.
'
as it is most men think women are just bodies.

when a female character is not covered properly, it is most likely that her acting will go unnoticed and ppl will keep looking at her body.

besides paro is shown as a decent girl from decent family. my point was when maithly sunehri, bindi can be covered properly why not paro.

any ways. they r covering her properly now a days. so i am glad.
