Here's a girl who's lost everything. She's alone and scared. Yet through all that she managed not to breakdown. She managed to see the small things than the big nightmarish picture.
She keeps her compassion and her innocence. Her smile and her spark.

It's easy to brush it off as a plot inconsistency... But look a bit deeper and it's finest nuance of Paro's character.

Picking herself up has become second nature to her. Knowing that she's alone is a fact she's comprehended long before on one fateful night when a bus burnt and along with it the people she cared most about.

She shuts off. She lives in the moment. She lives in a dream.

Because that's how she's always lived. Always waiting to wake up.

Beautiful post!!! 👏👏👏
Paro has seen it all, been through it all ... she has lost everything once, lost her entire world. Lived on the kindness of relatives and strangers all her life. Even as a child she turned a smiling face to others, and kept her tears hidden under a quiet exterior.

Today she has lost everything again, even more than before. She has literally no one of her own left. Yet she manages to smile, to find light in the darkest of situations. Because she knows that even when you feel you would rather die, life still goes on. And you have to move with it.

For me there are 2 scenes that define Paro.

the first one as a child in spite of losing her parnets she willingly gave away her doll which was her parting gift from parents, to another troubled child.

The second one is when she looked at the odd mirror in Rudra's room for the first time and hesitantly broke into a smile. That was such a beautifully enacted scene.

Beautiful post 😊
She has had quite a few upheavels in her life. One as a child when she lost her parents ...she picked herself up and stayed a positive spirited person full of love.

Second when she was an adult and lost everything ...her best friend , her groom and with him her dreams of a future ...and then the support of her mamisa and the thakurs along with her villiage , who she also knows think of her as dead.

She has cried , mourned , thought of killing herself and tried to run away from rudra and this situation several times to the best of her ability ...

Now is making peace with the situation and trying to be resiliant and again pick herself up ...trying to enjoy some moments in her dreary life and also has promised to herself that she wouldn't cry anymore and feel helpless anymore.

Where prey is the inconsistancy in the character ...how long can a human just be swamped in self pity , mourning and stay sucidal ...if you are a survivour and which she definately is ...you start facing the circumstances to the best of your ability.

How she deals with the situation further and what happens in her life henceforth has to be seen ...so lets all wait and enjoy the show 😊

Much needed post.
Paro right from day 1 has been shown as naive girl full of hopes and dreams and finding happiness in smallest of things and coping with a tragedy by adjusting herself to new situations and new surroundings.
So when tragedy struck her again, like any normal person she was shocked, heartbroken and cried. But being Paro she is trying to adjust to the situation and surroundings and finding a way to prove her innocence without causing harm to her family.
It's not that she is done with grieving, we'll see her having nightmares, crying and even heartbroken and hopeless too sometimes thinking of her tragedies.
