So our Majorsa has been sowing his seeds with Laila for 8 long years. Which has made Laila believe that this is an exclusive relationship and no other woman should ever come in between Rudra and her.

While I empathise with her possessive nature and need to mark her territory, sadly Rudra is clean here. Yes, he has an emotional connection with her, but that doesn't mean he owes her anything. Believe it or not it is possible for people to have an emotional connection with someone without falling in love or getting into a full fledged relationship. What however Rudra owes her is being upfront with her when he finally loves another woman. It would hurt Lailaike hell, pain her to no end. But both of them knew what they were signing up for. I'm somehow not inclined to demonise Rudra for the Laila affair.

What does everyone think?

P.S- I liked yesterday's episode, it had something for everyone. Finally it feels like the story and the various tracks are starting to come together.

Bassu,

If the writers and actors have conveyed it correctly, then, what Rudra has with Laila is an ARRANGEMENT , not a relationship. He has never invested sentiments in her and he has made it more than clear that they both are 'friends-with-benefits'.

So, i cannot empathize with Laila at all because I don't see how she thinks she is being wronged by Rudra if he actually finds love in Paro.

If Rudra would have made a single promise to her that was more than benefits, I would see Laila's POV. But from where she stands today, she has no business telling Rudra that he cannot fall in love. If she plays the 'victim' card, I will actually go and slap her face.

8 years? Big deal. Even 5 year plans of governments are useless if they have no real flesh.

Rudra and Laila's relationship has been upfront for the viewers, we know rudra said no strings attached and Laila accepted, both equally agreed.

Agree with u totally

WORD..!! ⭐️ I have no sympathies for Laila because of the reasons stated above.. Rudra was NEVER in a relationship with her.. No promises.. No threads to bind her to him.. SHE was the one sticking to him and HE is the one who lets her because he does'nt care two hoots what any 'aurat' thinks about him.. she is someone who can easily fulfil his needs and there is NO emotional baggage from HIS side.. He stands clear..
For him, his duty, his sanity matters the most..!!

Lets see what answer he gives back to her.

Rudra has no relationship but for need pf physical .no emotional connection n he made it clear from many times..
it's laila know still she accept it suddenly she try to show possessiveness in their give n take connection where no emotional connection
she choose this path after rudra said her many time don't try to be his wife or any emotional connection
it's her stupidity n if she want to be victim then she will fall
no sympathy for Laila her own path she choose...
she showed that she will turn scorn woman now ,where from the first day when rudra clear the stand she should understand 8yrs whose fault didn't rudra said no emotion
she choose she have to bear it she already accepted it then suddenly it's
n if she has that much love or something she can change rudra which she never able to do it

but agree with u , that u said right many tracks open after yesterday's epi
it'll be more interesting

I empathise with Laila to some extent ... 8 years is a long time. But she is overstepping her boundaries ... Rudra made her no promises, least of all, love or commitment ... it was a mutual arrangement, and she started to see more in it ... that's her fault.
He seems to have let her see more ... that's his fault.

Yes, he has always been upfront with her, told her not to expect anything from him ... but 8 years is a long time. He uses her as and when he pleases ... and she lets him. She allows him to ride roughshod over her ... so he does. But in 8 years. did he never see this coming? Or did he just not bother about it, because he doesn't care about her feelings? Or because he thinks beautiful women don't have feelings, and if he dumps her, she will get over it fast enough?

Rudra is in for a shock when Laila turns nasty. He thinks he has been upfront, his conscience is clear ... but sometimes its more about the unspoken than the spoken.
Makes for an interesting time ahead.

Emotional connection is exactly what he does not have with Laila or anyone else for that matter.. Ok.. any other women in particular. That's what he emphasized multiple times earlier. And he explicitly said he doesn't belong to her or anyone. I guess Laila sees beyond the rough exterior and knows there is more to Rudra and she hopes he will realize it eventually.
This is the first time probably that he has mentioned another woman to her and that too in connection with getting clothes etc. so she felt threatened and in turn threatened him!
Would be interesting to see his reaction.. Wonder if there will be one!
That would set the tone for Paro's look in future episodes.. If laila does lend her clothes that's fine otherwise wonder how the clothes issue is solved!

Same here. He has never in these 8 years ever given her any false hopes from his side. Always, in every encounter of theirs, he makes sure to say something or the other which renders Laila as nothing but an ARRANGEMENT. He specifically asks her "Not to behave like a wife, coz she NEVER will be one."

If Laila is assuming from this statement that Rudra will never marry anybody, then it is she entirely who is mistaken. I feel sorry for the foolish zidd that she has for him. 8 years is a long time to realize that they guy won't COMMIT to you, and for your own mental health, you should MOVE on.
But yahaan toh Laila ji, "Kunwar-Sa" ka jaap lagaaye baithi hai.
