Can we like, start, from 100 to 1? We should because that is where am stuck.

For a few seconds, Rudra was horrified-repulsed-loathing of Paro. The moment he opened his eyes and saw Paro -almost stuck to him , separated by a cold glass wall - Rudra was taken aback -scared -disgusted. He instantly stepped back as the fragile Paro collapsed into gallons of tears - almost like she was some serpent who would sting him , as though , in that echoing fear and disgust for beautiful women, triggered by a fresh flashback of an unfaithful beautiful mother - Rudra felt that Paro would do something to him. And as his retreat continued, the shock and awe turned into anger and disgust. Paro, already accused of being a traitor had an additional attribute to her - she was a BEAUTIFUL traitor and that only mounted Rudra's anger. Anger which had less to do with Paro and more to do with that elusive mother. Paro should fine Rudra's mother someday - for all the crap she is and she will be putting up with , only because that mother was mean to Rudra. Paro is paying that woman's retribution , not hers.

Yup, the suggested pain embrace was some real innovative and moving way of portraying emotions of two people who are in the same garbage bin but dealing with different bands of garbage. But... its Rudra's reaction to Paro's proximity that is worth applause. For a change, his eyes did not soften - he retreated in shock, fear and revulsion. Indicative of the fact that Rudra is prone to seeing his mother's veils in Paro...After all, this is what he has been taught. Khoobsoorat auratein kisi ki nahiin hoteen...and its Paro's bad-luck that she will somehow, always be juxtaposed with Rudra's stunner-runner mother. That her fault will be nothing except her genetic endowments.

Coming to Paro. The girl is see-sawing in trauma - she pulls out of shock, then, she again slips into post-trauma. Her sense of reality and past is kind of oscillating and she is hallucinating. She will be roughly brought to her senses by Rudra when he drives the point to her tomorrow that what exactly has happened with her and what she is accused of. Even Rudra has not registered with her completely due to her post-trauma. You usually are as good as half-drugged in such situations. So, Paro's actual reaction to her situation will come tomorrow. She is in a very tight spot and in a very vulnerable situation. She needs immediate help and someone needs to CONVERSE with her so that she is in sync with reality. Good that Rudra went booming to her. At least, he will speak to her and sync her with the present. ...Pretty sad. We will never know that just why the most vulnerable are the most suffering. Paro's situation is what you would fit into the famous chaos theory. A goes wrong, B goes wrong... all goes wrong because the chaos is meant to happen. Sadly, Paro has done a thesis in CT overnight.

As for Rudra, nopey, you can never say the guy has no emotions or that he is heartless. He isn't. His tears , salutation to his martyr soldiers , his emotional -"Thhe to mere apne naa?" and his quiet and almost sorry reaction to Vikram's mother, his breakdown and his latent yearning for his stunner-runner mother... and his almost scared retreat from Paro. All these show Rudra as a very emotional man.Its easy for him to cry and he does not mind breaking down. He sort of likes to live in pain. He is okay with all his weaknesses as long as nobody tries to heal him. Rudra is crying but he is not looking for healing. He is fine with open wounds. Cry a little, feel bad for yourself , then, get ready to face the day.

I don't blame Vikram's mother for anything. She is a martyr's mother , but she is a mourning mother and am glad that Rudra and Aman understood her hatred for them.

For the rest, i was happy to see Thakurain Sa - she is a pleasant watch and her concern for Paro was genuine and heart felt. Aage jaake Paro Bahuriyaa ban gayee toh kya baat hai. Rudra can hate two beautiful women in one frame.

Precap? Rudra is working so hard to make sure that everyone disowns Paro and she becomes his territory. But phirr toh Rudra will have to wear Ray Bans 24x7 'coz if Khoobsoorti ek gunaah hai, then, to dekho and nihaaro Khoobsoorti is also a gunaah na? Oh, well.

BTW, Paro's Nahiiin is the new google search result for the word - Infinity. And why does Rudra even TRY shooting Paro jab trigger chaltaa nahin?

Anyway, scene of the day remains Rudra backing away from Paro in horror and disgust. Almost a forewarning... in a way.

😊
Wonderfully written as usual...👏...

Everything you have written suggests that its Othello in reverse...
There the story ended with mistrust and betrayal...but in RR it has started on the base of hatred and mistrust...and would lead to...we have to just wait and watch...

Kudos to the makers of RR...👏

Khamma Ghani Jeeja Saa.. And Happy Sena Diwas.

Aaj I am completely drained out cause I cried so much... So do you mind if I copy paste my views here which I already wrote somewhere else?

I have held a record about not crying with an Indian Television Serial. And it seems as if Rangrasiya is hell bent on breaking the record so shamefully. I literally emptied my eyes out during the whole episode.

The start. The middle. The end.

What does one write for something that shook their soul?

When Paro started running towards Varun, the shrieks... Uff, they seemed to echo inside my chest, as she screamed like a woman who lost everything, absolutely everything in her life. She cried, screamed, on watching the love of her life there lying lifeless.

She for once, tried, searching for some sign of life in her Banna-sa. Maybe some proof that her own life had not shattered to pieces. But alas, her Banna-sa was dead, and so were her dreams of a new life.

Her piercing shrieks seemed to affect Rudra, as he stared at her for a while before deciding what to do with her. For a moment there, it felt as if he was truly moved by the pain of the fragile woman who was breaking right in front of him.

But then, he was knocked back into his senses, and duty called. He nears her with a gun in his hand, already branding her an enemy in his mind. When he readies to fire, she looks him in the eye, and screams... Almost wanting him to pull the trigger. Why wouldn't she? Everything in her life had just ended, why not end in that moment as well. For Paro, her dreams, her life... Everything has just been brutally butchered. What is a person who has lost everything supposed to do?

But instead, he arrests her. He takes her back to the head quarters, and thrashes her onto the ground of interrogation room, thus breaking her bangles. It was symbolic in that moment, as a woman is supposed to break her bangles when she looses her husband. That scene is excruciatingly heartbreaking, and this was too.

When Paro was lying on the floor, murmuring into nothingness... I cried like a bucketload of tears. It reminded me of the scene when Izzie cried on the bathroom floor not believing that Denny had died just ten minutes after proposing her on Grey's Anatomy. I had cried horribly during that scene too, and I did the same here. I cried watching her not believing that this was all REALLY happening to her. I cried when she said that her mom and dad were going to get a new doll for her. Paro is broken. And nothing will fix her right now.

But the scene that came next was even more unbearable to watch. The moment Rudra was in the mortuary, facing the dead bodies of HIS men, I broke down again. The pure feeling of Patriotism that drives the army is unbelievable, and all that was shown with every inch of respect tonight. The way Rudra said, "Isse jaan dene mei hichkichaahat nahi hui, tumhe iska naam lene mei kaise ho sakti hai..?" Then as he lifted the last body to recognize it, ufff. No words can describe how brilliantly emotional that scene was. I would like to Salute the team of RR for respecting and showing the scene so brilliantly, that it invoked the Indian in me.

When Rudra was facing the mother of that Shaheed, I could only but cry. The families are left with the utter loss, always. Nobody can feel what the families go through when they lose their sons, husbands, fathers like this. The grief they feel, though others view it as respect and pride, for the families, it is just LOSS. And that was what the mother was feeling. The outrage was honest to the core. But the curse... The curse was a little too late for Rudra.

His wounds were scraped again by the voice of that mother. He was again reminded of the fact that what that lady said was cent percent true. That his mother wouldn't even care... wouldn't shed a single tear if tomorrow he died.

Overcome by grief, he tried to seek solace in the empty room, crying for the first time in eons. His heart twisted in pain, and his soul burned at the truth of those words. And Paro... Paro couldn't believe all this was happening. Paro couldn't believe she was in shackles. Paro just wanted to see someone, anyone at all... So even though it was a mirror, she cried on it, she cried with her reflection. She cried feeling all the pain in the world.

But as soon as Rudra sees he's been crying with her, he backs off in shock. That will be the most important aspect of their relationship. Him backing off.

He'll always be distrustful of her. Always.

Such beauty being shown on Indian Television. Its almost unbelievable.

Unreserved-Ok, I, honestly will be going against the crowd on this one-I didn't, really enjoy the episode, per se! There were some brilliant scenes, but some scenes just seemed off, to me! It, probably has something to do with the fact that I watched this episode with somebody that kept pointing out what was not realistic & he knows what he's talking, I couldn't ignore it & it effectively, made the episode not so enjoyable!
What I thought was off-the pace! For God's sake, can we move the story ahead! The fillers are getting to me! Today, story wise, it was a filler! Then, the editing in the 1st part-the Echoing Nahiii, seriously, are we going back to 1980s Bollywood! That was jarring on the ears! The grieving mother-Call me stone-hearted, & all that, but it was illogical & seemed very forcibly included into the episode to fit in Rudra's abandonment issues! A mother's grief is understandable, but what's with the blaming, didn't she know what her son was signing up for when he joined BSD! Also, apparently, one is not supposed to handcuff a woman, there should be a lady personnel when a woman is taken into custody & many more protocols that they didn't follow! Creative liberty, I guess!
What was brilliant-Ashish is so good as Rudra! That scene where he visits the mortuary & shows his respect to the martyrs, was BRILLIANTLY done! Sanaya's Paro, oscillating between dealing with her nightmare of a reality & slipping into semi-conscious state where she doesn't know what's real, that was amazingly done! The mirror scene-like I said, whoever came up with that scene, please take a bow-that was the scene that stole the show! Then, they play the title track in the background & just for that one scene, I choose to overlook everything that seemed off to me in the episode! To quote whoever had written this in the forum yesterday, that scene reflected RP's story, separated by misgivings, united in grief! It was sheer brilliance!
Yes, the precap-I freaked out for a moment before the alternate possibility of Mami refusing to recognise Paro for Paro's own safety came to mind! So, I am going to watch tomorrow's episode with an open mind & see why Paro, finally loses the last person that she considered her own!
P.S: Get Rudra some medical attention, already, CVs!
@MKM-I loved your post! Your take just made the whole episode seem better!

Vicky u are an amazing analyzer ... Just love to read your take on each episode...
Love the pet name of Rudra's mom stunner- runner..
I just loved the episode though it was so emotionally taxing...
Sanaya's portrayal of a shattered Paro was so heart wrenching...
The bit I didn't like was Rudra ruthlessly shoving Paro into the interrogation room causing her to stumble down :/ The manhandling part should be toned down !!

U exactly echoed my question in the last para, why was even Rudra pointing the gun at Paro when he very well knows he can never pull the trigger till kingdom comes...
Rudra's retreat scene had me in a dilemma , can't understand if I love the situation or not.. But I think initially there will be only hatred from both sides only ...

Manaal..
