Unreserved-Ok, I, honestly will be going against the crowd on this one-I didn't, really enjoy the episode, per se! There were some brilliant scenes, but some scenes just seemed off, to me! It, probably has something to do with the fact that I watched this episode with somebody that kept pointing out what was not realistic & he knows what he's talking, I couldn't ignore it & it effectively, made the episode not so enjoyable!
What I thought was off-the pace! For God's sake, can we move the story ahead! The fillers are getting to me! Today, story wise, it was a filler! Then, the editing in the 1st part-the Echoing Nahiii, seriously, are we going back to 1980s Bollywood! That was jarring on the ears! The grieving mother-Call me stone-hearted, & all that, but it was illogical & seemed very forcibly included into the episode to fit in Rudra's abandonment issues! A mother's grief is understandable, but what's with the blaming, didn't she know what her son was signing up for when he joined BSD! Also, apparently, one is not supposed to handcuff a woman, there should be a lady personnel when a woman is taken into custody & many more protocols that they didn't follow! Creative liberty, I guess!
What was brilliant-Ashish is so good as Rudra! That scene where he visits the mortuary & shows his respect to the martyrs, was BRILLIANTLY done! Sanaya's Paro, oscillating between dealing with her nightmare of a reality & slipping into semi-conscious state where she doesn't know what's real, that was amazingly done! The mirror scene-like I said, whoever came up with that scene, please take a bow-that was the scene that stole the show! Then, they play the title track in the background & just for that one scene, I choose to overlook everything that seemed off to me in the episode! To quote whoever had written this in the forum yesterday, that scene reflected RP's story, separated by misgivings, united in grief! It was sheer brilliance!
Yes, the precap-I freaked out for a moment before the alternate possibility of Mami refusing to recognise Paro for Paro's own safety came to mind! So, I am going to watch tomorrow's episode with an open mind & see why Paro, finally loses the last person that she considered her own!
P.S: Get Rudra some medical attention, already, CVs!
@MKM-I loved your post! Your take just made the whole episode seem better!

Thank you, Archu. What can i say to you now.😆... its your opinion and perfectly fine in its place. Of course, its not realistic - a lot of things like absence of a lady cop/constable, the grieving mother slapping Rudra and Paro's extended Nahinnn but it works for drama - it manipulates emotions and that is how soap mills earn their bread and butter. In India, we make stories that are dramatic, larger-than-life and high on adrenaline. Because that is what our general audience is.

The mirror scene is the gist of Rudra's and Paro's story. They will always be together, whether they like it or not and no matter how many cold glass walls come in between.

And, just to say, yes, all families of armed forces know what their boys are signing up for. But that does not reduce the sense of loss when we lose them.

I know I sound like a sadist, but this is the first time he has reacted to Paro as per the forewarning his Dad gave him years ago. This incident has both their fears to the fore and now both of them stand in their most vulnerable states.Sadly for poor Paro, more salt is going to be rubbed into her very raw wounds. As they say, things will get much worse before they get better. It looks like Paro will be a living example of this. It's sad to see, but this is what we were promised and I am liking the execution for now.

Thank you and you got it perfectly right!👏...For the first time, Rudra saw a flicker of his mother's beauty betrayal when he looked at a sobbing Paro. This is what this story is. Paro's love for Rudra and his examination love for her. Its almost tragic, you can say.

For now, Paro is a traitor and a means to reach Tejaawat. Rudra cannot afford to soften.😆

She needs help now. She is caught up in this mess but she will hv to bear the brunt of Rudra's anger. It's not fair and makes you wonder, the weakest people are the ones who receive so little help, when it's them who need it the most.

I really hated how he dragged her to the HQ amidst the army of men! Something not quite right about that.

And take a moment and spare a thought for her, she has just lost everything, and poor thing doesn't even get to mourn properly. She is treated like a criminal, whatever happened to innocent till proven guilty. As u can see, Paro's suffering that doesn't end just like this damn day for her has got to me.

How badly will she be scarred by this horrendous day?

Thank you. Of course, for an outsider, Paro's plight is greater and Rudra's behaviour is cruel. But stop there. And look. Rudra lost all his men in that fight , except Aman. His sense of loss is no less than Paro's because for him, his soldiers were his family. For him, Paro is only a traitor and a means to reach Tejaawat. He is not at all thinking of her as a woman who has just lost her husband. When the steam cools off, all of Paro will register with him. Right now, he is only a BSD officer.

What Paro is suffering right now is terrible. But its less terrible than the life she will have with Rudra in future. Like standing in a desert and waiting for rain to come... and you know, its never going to come.😆

The mirror scene was beautifully done.

Both Sanaya and Ashish were equally good today, hats off to them!

Today was the episode I was waiting for ...it was emotionally charged and totally performance driven. I have been praising the PH / crew /CV's etc ... Today belonged to sanaya and ashish .

I loved so many scenes ...the bangle breaking one ( i know it is symbolic ...) , when rudra and aman see the bodies of their colleagues ...to me that scene was more patriotic in 2 minutes than the whole episode yesterday. The line he said " inhoane bahudari main apni jaan de di aur tum aman inke naam bhi ..." Loved it.

Paro going into trauma and hallucinations was brilliant ... Sanaya aced it today . This must be difficult for her , it is so far away from who she is ...

The one scene between thakursa and thakuriyan was awesome ...both ares uch fine actors.

The scene of the episode ofcourse was the mirror analogy again ...simply brilliant , especially with the background music playing...and how rudra reacts when he sees paro ...like you said sign of times to come. Ashish was awesome ...

What an awesome display of acting today ...loved it.

Thank you and I agree with you completely. Today belonged to the actors and the person who thought of the mirror scene. Rudra's agony and pain for his martyr soldiers and Paro's trauma and sorrow - it was such a see-saw of their pain.😃

Sometimes, this story will make you wonder if Rudra should have killed Paro that day in the desert itself? Maybe he should have pulled that trigger and saved her from the agony that lay ahead.

We are really lucky to have Sanaya & Ashish portray these characters. They are just awesome 👏

Also Paro's reaction we have to understand she is a village girl with very little exposure of the outside world😕 And now she is/will be facing such hardships 🤢 It is truly heartbreaking 😕

PS - I am keen to watch Sanaya portray such a difficult character😃
Ashish fits the role like a glove

@Underline-No, I do not mean to undermine the sense of loss; I wouldn't do that! When I said what I did, I meant, shouldn't she have known that her son would be out there, fighting terrorists, trying to protect the nation, that he would, in fact be sent on missions, & that Rudra did his job, he was not at fault & he didn't deserve the hatred he got! I wouldn't say anything that would trivialize the sense of loss or what the Armed Forces do! I, only meant it in the way that they got the mother to react in anger, instead of in only grief to trigger Rudra's abondonment issues! I mean no offense to anybody!
