i also think so.
And her costume was not good at all. As she was very short, the cvs should give her different type of outfit what could make her a little taller. she was looking shorter in that ghagra.

Indian Television has been a revelation to me post IPPKND and one that still keeps me interested

No, the male lead does not smooch. Period. For that matter, no one does on Indian TV. He may 2,3,4 wives, but he does not smooch. People get married and dont consummate even after a whole year or two has passed by. infact, in Ashish's first show, he gets married to the heroine pretty early on, and then they dont consummate for more than a year and the two leads actually die without having ever kissed or consummated. So please dont be surprised at anything that is shown. Which is why the hyperventilation, and the excitement. Not just at the kiss, but also at the promise that perhaps we will finally have a show that dares to be real.

AGREED.

Ankita Sharma has to understand that Rakhi Sawant and Madhuri Dixit are two different schools of naaz-nakhra-adaa -nazaakhat. And that has nothing to do with how good an actress you are.Its about how perceptive and grasping you are of the character on paper.

Seriously.

I get what you mean ...she hasn't grasped the character as yet ...its early days , hopefully will get better soon.

FLS ... the thing is that Rudra hates all beautiful women ... so according to that, he should NOT be with a very beautiful woman anyway ...
In that sense, Ankita fits the bill, and I think her styling is also made to portray that ... more a rustic, plain banjaran dancer trying to look seductive, than a sexy siren. He thinks all women are cheap and unfaithful ... so he purposely goes for a woman who seems to exemplify those traits, in order to prove his point to himself. That's the way I read him, when I hear about his hatred for beautiful women ... and that's the way Laila looks and behaves.

As far as acting goes, Ankita needs to improve ... but she's had just three scenes, of which one was a dance ... she will also need some time to get into character properly.

I can't say whether it was Ankita at fault or the choreography
but i did not like it

I would say choreography because i found the moves a lot slower compared to the beats of the song..it didn't match at all
Now had the choreography been good and the dance still bad then i would know that was the fault of Ankita
Let's see on the next performance (if Laila has any)

I find her forced in her performance. Her expressions are just too bad.

Diya 🤗 ah got it I did register his anger when he saw her dancing at the sangeet reinforcing his belief that women are sly and deceptive Hmm very interesting take and makes sense Of course he will chose that
