I honestly don't have a problem with it and I don't think the Indian audience will either because I feel it gives greater depth to both the story and the character of Rudra. I thought the time length was fine and the acting was brilliant!

I have not really watched any of the epis yet. (Just got back from the mountains.)
So I don't even know if I am qualified to make this comment. Yet.
But I think, since the scene was a preamble to Rudra's relationship with Laila, we will probably not get such scenes again. Or at least not to that extent. We might see them in the same room, or leaving from each other's houses, or even in bed, but probably not a repeat. That's what I feel.
The scene is just setiing the stage. So far, I think that's what's happeniing. the story will perhaps begin in earnest when Rudra and Paro are actually living together, in whatever capapcity. (The promo pics we saw...)
(But I don't even know why I am making this comment when I have not even seen the epi!) (Caps anywhere? I am so intrigued now!)

TRPs are earned when the show is good ..meaning it has a tight script, good actors , storyline etc...I thought the scene was awesome...beautifully shot..plus it added to the storyline...I say bring it on..they have me hooked..

This is the first time we saw the character of Laila. no doubt that Laila's character is totally opposite to Paro. and that's why the scene was necessary, I think. The scene also reveals the character of Rudra. i don't think it will affect trp unless such type of scene comes unnecessarily again and again.

However, I did not like the character of Laila. I was just wondering, when Rudra will fall in love with Paro, what type of dirty game Laila will play.

Honestly, I get the point of it lowering trps, but I put more value to what strengthens the story. I believe all of us here in this forum are the die hard fans of a show, we watch this show because we like the story. And the story we like is a mature love story that is not the typical saas bahu drama. I believe the scene clearly establishes an essence of Rudra's character. I have heard many times in promos and interviews that this is not going to be love story that is based on marriage. Who knows whether the relationship between Paro and Rudra will be a mature one. But this scene could point to that direction as Rudra's cold character will fit that scenario well.

Indians really need to live in the 21st century ...We are the world most populous country not just by having eye lock girls ...
Of course we respect our elders but we should not let this make us switch channels to saas-bahu shows showing pujas

I agree with your point.TRP aunties are not so broad-minded to accept this kind of scene . Honestly I also did not like that scene. But It's a nice change to show a diff kind of Hero in Hindi soaps and break the stereotypical hero image of Hindi soap.I am happy the ST N CV's had the guts to show it. I hope TRP aunties also appreciate the change . But It will take time.

Ankita did a good job as Laila . I don't find Lalila hot and also pretty . She is ok type.
