It is getting intense by the day, and I am going all moe over it!

I knew when she'd faint, Rudra would come back to carry her in his arms. But what especially caught my attention was that he crossed the flames of his burning bike with her... It felt symbolic in some way to me... As if saying ki "Aag ka Dariya hai... Doob ke jaana hai.." I know I know I am being pathetically cliche. But I can't help it.

His love, as I have said before is going to scorch her, and it will be his responsibility entirely that he saves her from those flames as well.

Then when they were sitting in the jeep. She asks Bindi whether she is fine or not, and in the next moment, her eyes travel to her savior, asking without speaking whether he is fine too or not?

I must commend the volumes of emotions portrayed in both the actors eyes! They marvel in such scenes where there are zero dialogues!

The way he just shirks off her worries with a flick of his eyes... As if "what could possibly happen to him?"

And later on, what do we find? That he actually was shot! Such tashan Rudra-sa!

Also, when she was sitting in the jeep and the Rukmani butterfly came, and that simple sa dialogue... "Bachpan ki saheli hai..."

I smiled at that! Yes, They are childhood friends, our Rudra and Paro in a way...

Even the scenes where the rest of the cast is involved, are awesome!

The way Thakur just couldn't take it when Bindi was going on and on about BSD! Paro seems a bit intuitive about Thakur not being entirely goody two shoes.

Then the dialogue.. "Aag chita ki saathi banne ke liye hi paida hoti hai.."

That moment, I was reminded of Maami's dialogue a few days back... "Aag toh havan mei bhi hoti hai... Shaadi ke bandhan mei bhi jodhti hai..."

The scene where Paro tries to inhale her mother's scent, had my heart crying... And if that wasn't enough, they just had to show the scene of Rudra and his father!

The way he screams, "Ranawat! Bhool jaa usne!"

And the perfect reply...! "Teri Aankhen uski hai. Phodh le, toh mai bhool jaaunga..."

I love the fact that Rudra has his mothers eyes... That's the only part of him that is Beautiful, the rest is all masculine!

RES. 😉

LOL. I really needed to score that first spot after everything that's happened today. Will get back here as soon as I watch the epi!

Unres.

Finally! I just finished watching the epi. And wow, I am soo glad I listened to you and picked up this show cuz damn. That was something amazing.

I love the title of the post first of all. It goes with today's epi so well. Like yesterday was all about reflections and mirrors, today was all about fires and flames.

I loved the fact that in her head, he's the one that's setting her on fire but in his eyes, he's the one that's rescuing her. I think this will be running theme throughout their lives. And I think that flaming bike bypass was an amazing way to set the cycle into motion.

You know I didn't notice the eye flick of his. I must go rewatch but I loved the way he turned his head and stared at her the minute he found out she was getting married. This after he had casually walked away the minute he was sure she was in her senses.

And then the eye to eye in the mirror. Haaaye. You're right. They don't need words. Their eyes do the job for them. Simple hai. They both have pain deeply rooted inside. They both aren't talkative or wordy and they both have too many complexities that can't ever be properly conveyed with words. They're both people of action. And so it makes complete sense that their eyes would do the talking for them. And to imagine this passionate, intense couple is going to have aankhon wala romance. This show is full of duality and it's amazing!

You know I instantly remembered Maami's dialogues too when Thakur Jee said that. I love how Rudra is taking on the symbolism of fire in her life already.

I also loved that father-son exchange. And that dream Paro has. And the way Rudra calls his father by the name and smiles when his father disconnects. It shows disconnect and concern all coiled into one. And that is Rudra.

Special mention to the way he didn't let the girls travel alone with the other jawaans. My shipper heart wants to believe it's because one of the girls was Paro. 😉

Can't wait for the next epi. Shit. Do you realise now we gotta wait out two whole days??! Kaise kareinge?

They are going to burn the screen and i am all set to get burned in the fire of intensity, passion, angst, love.

The jeep scene ..."Aankho se tune yeh kya keh diya, dil yeh divana dhadakne laga"...no need to say more.
