It's only been 4 days, and clearly we are all in AWE of this show. I personally have never been so gripped to one show in such a short time. And I think I know what really clicked for me -
1. The first time the couple came face to face, there wasn't an unnecessary breeze blowing in their faces and hair, nor did the moment 'freeze', nor did they stare at each other for the longest time.

2. No love at first sight (it really doesn't happen in real life)

3. Neither hatred nor immediate love during the first meeting

4. No dialogues what so ever. The eyes did the talking

5, And of course, the desert. There was nothing else in the background to distract the viewers. Just the plain and calm sand. The entire focus was on the leads.

In short, there were NO CLICHES. Something like this could happen in real life. And I love shows that connect with the audience on a personal level.

I know for a fact that I'm gonna LOVE this show. I have never seen such burning chemistry between two people on celluloid.

Kudos to Rang Rasiya!

I think RR is a refreshing change on TV atm...its concept is different from other shows currently running on TV so that's one reason why I feel every1 is enjoying it... the points u made remind me of nakusha-dutta story on LTL which was a show on colors, becos like rudra-paro, even naku and dutta's meeting was quite similar... rudra saving paro from goons, and eye lock in the jeep - very similar 2 how Tasha's first interaction occurred (dutta saving naku 4rm corrupt policemen and jeep eye lock scene)

Totally agree with your post. I'm so hooked on it that all other shows (which I hardly watched anyway) seem so bland and boring now.

this show reminds me of Gulaal which was sidharth sengupta's show too...he is an ace director and it had even better brilliant cinematogrphy..., i hope this show can also attain the same level of execution..
