It happened today
the first meeting!
And just like the cool breeze from a not so distant memory, the reflection of their mirrors made gentle love, a caress that was felt by both.
The much anticipated meeting was only marred by what our dear Paro had to go through to get there. So Paro goes to the trousseau man and hopes the man packs a bigger duppatta than the one the production house has given her. The man is all snake oil seller and packs in some Moolah into the trousseau Jhola, per thakur's instructions.
Paro gets ambushed by men who wear matching clothes for no reason, sewed by the same darzi (tailor) as Thakur sa. The goons decide to toss Bindiya out of the van and go for the booty and the beauty. But their Rang mein Bhang shows up on a bike with an inverted Kadahi (sauce pan) on his head for a helmet.
Paro is all screams for help. But our hero saab has IPod ear buds stuck in his ears and happily listening to ILA ARUN rendering her most throaty Rajasthani Song - Mara Hiwda Mein Laagay Kataar Re...Choli Ke Peechay Kya Hai...and can't hear Paro cries from Gadi Ke Peechay. He passes them but his bike is not happy and blows a fuse.
Now, don't underwear the power of a man riding a motorcycle in slick leather jacket on the hot dunes of Rajasthan. He broke 435 bones, 20 molars, 15 canines, 26 jaws, 80 collarbones, 56 bullets into soft bellies, set aflame 4 jeeps, 3 truck and 5 motorcycles. He did all this before breakfast. Imagine what some ghee wali roti and panchmel dal, cooked by lissome Paro, added to his diet, will do to the poor Birpur ke Bekar Bandas
Birpur ki Choris eat atta from good chakkis. Badi karara hain. Bindiya got tossed out of the truck and she lives to tell the tales of our hero to the Bharat Matrimony Thakur. Thakur sa's Jodhpurs were too tight in the crotch and he swears at the Darzi. But this outburst shocks Bindiya and Paro, who mistake it for his anger at BSD.
So goes first meetings and soon the first mating...giggle!
