I wasn't going to post again until the weekend, but after watching tonight's episode I couldn't help myself and here I am. 😃

Day 3 of Rangrasiya was absolutely riveting stuff! Rudra's action-packed entry provided the guns in this GnR anthem. With enough and more fireworks to commemorate the New Year, Rudra effortlessly caught and held my eye in every scene. The overtly macho, yet crisp and controlled fight sequences were a treat after the colourful chaos that surrounds Paro. And Rudra was mesmerising as he played hide-and-seek with the enemy, exploding out of cover or bringing the bad guys down.

Two memorable sequences: the mid-air shooting and the display of wits-and-grit as Rudra skewered the final gunman with his jeep.

And just when I thought we'd seen all there was to Rudra tonight we got that final shot in front of his superior. Having never seen Ashish act before, I have to admit that I had qualms about how he'd support Sanaya, but they melted away after watching him emote in that memorable last scene, the bleakness of his expression and the closed-in look his telling response to being ordered to leave for Birpur in an hour. Now I am quite convinced that he will be able to hold his own against Sanaya's stellar acting prowess.

Sanaya's display of the shy bride-to-be filled with dreams in her chat with the Thakurain was equally convincing, although the concern she showed for her aunt (?) in setting up a chopping machine felt abrupt. But that last scene in the mini-truck when she flings the dupatta off her head to breathe in Birpur's air unrestricted was just so heart-warming.

The crew gave us some carefully chosen, spectacular scenery today - the shot of the tricolour fluttering over the white-shrouded bodies laid out in the infinite desert was a stand-out for me. As were the harsh ruins where Rudra nullifies the enemy. And the beautiful architecture of the fort underlined the beauty of the three women conversing about love and marriage.

In all, there was much to savour in today's episode. And yes, I can't wait for tomorrow! 😃

Wonderful post, tvbug. I feel really good about this show. I have a feeling if they continue in the same vein they'll be very successful. Ashish was amazing today. Words fall short of describing his acting,,esp when he first saw the bodies and then when his CO tells him he has to go to Beerpur. Sanaya , as usual , was fabulous. I really look forward to more every single time I watch it.

For me today Ashish stood out today! His acting was superb. I've never seen him in other shows before this so i was not sure whether he would match Sanaya's capability of acting.

However, he was magnificent.

He was so cold, ruthless and causal in his demeanor and for me it made the whole fight scene even better to watch!

His eyes are another story, I find it just amazing how both actors can use their eyes to emote their feeling 😃

So yeah i think he owned the episode today.

So yes Rangrasiya has been amazing so far and its only episode three!

Thank you, and glad you liked it.😊 And I agree about the show - now that we know the leads are amazing, and the supporting cast is very capable, and as Saurabh Tiwari claims a fair amount of the script is already written, then I really can't see how they can go wrong.

And yes I can't wait for tonight's show.

@ Bold: Agreed, Ashish's acting was spot on, and I too was pleasantly surprised by his emoting and great presence in the epi. Such a promising start!!
