Brilliant post. I knew I'd like the post as soon as I read the title of the thread. Rudra is a study in contrasts. Vulnerable and emotional on the inside and hard as granite on the outside. The entry was iconic. Very macho Bollywood type. Much better than Sanaya's, although she looked like something out of a dream in her opening scene.

Both Rudra and Parvati are traumatized in their childhood and have grownup in two different environments...one was nurtured lovingly and one was always reminded of betrayal by his beautiful mother. He ends up in the military where many troubled youth end up...a perfect place to work out your anger and aggression. She was showered with love, laughter, simple joys, cook, pray, dream and marry.
Both scarred, both seeking solace, their paths have crossed and will cross again to fulfill what destiny has planned for them.
Rudra - Othello/Rambo traits...nice.
I hope Parvati has more of Portia traits rather then Desdemona .
