The Stage is Set 1/1

A sinister plan awaits for the most important cog in its wheel and a bride is chosen in the most pious of places. Another marriage, another bride that will sustain the same old fire, the same fire that fuels the hatred and keeps innocence at bay. The stage is set, the pawns chosen but "he" has other ideas?

A bride is chosen in the most pious of places, is it destined? Or does Mahadev have his own plans weaved around these two? Even as the crowd erupts in rapturous joy, a young girl stills as it dawns on her that - its time. This is it. Is that a hint of fear in her eyes even amidst all the happy thoughts?

A simple man full of love in his heart is what she seeks.

A complex man with a heart full of hatred is what awaits her.

She seeks a poet, a good natured man who wouldn't even hurt an ant.

He kills ruthlessly, walks over land strewn with bodies and bathed in blood.

You may run, you may hide yourself in darkness but you won't be able to shield yourself from the sun that will light up your life. And when he rises, you will be found, says Maamisa. Paro is unsure. Is that what the heart wants?

He is set to return to the land that froze his young heart, will love melt it?

Reserved-Ok, before saying anything else, let me tell you I have been following both your Liquorice Burning & Pablo's Muse, & I love them both! I have not commented because I only came out of silent reading, recently! So, its great to see you here!
Coming to the episode, itself-agreed with whatever you said, & you put it so eloquently! I guess, the highlight of the episode was the juxtaposition of Paro's hopes against what is soon to become her reality-he couldn't have been any different from what she wanted if he tried, perhaps!
Also, yes, I noticed that there was a hint of fear(which is normal, I guess, it is a new phase in her life, after all) even amidst those shy smiles! That moment of realisation when it strikes her that its real & its happening was when perhaps fear reigned, but there's anticipation, which is seen, eventually! It'll be interesting to watch how Paro deals with a man like Rudra, who is this combination of everything she does not want!
@Aria-great take on the episode!

Beautifully said.

When Thakuraain-Sa said about the Sun, all I could say was that your Sun's Rays know only how to scorch... How are you going to bear him.. How will you, such an innocent fragile soul, not get wilted under the heavy burning presence of him.

Thank you for the mention of LB & PM here, always good to meet my readers :)

Coming to the episode, it felt like they were setting the stage, for things to come. Like you mentioned, the highlight being the juxtaposition of Paro's hopes against what is soon to become her reality. As well as the one thing that seems to get away from everyone's grasp, the sinister plan behind this marriage as a means to smuggle weapons which in turn helps keeps the hatred alive. Its a vicious cycle of sorts and would have likely gone unabated had it not been for Rudra's impending entry?

I am getting ahead of myself here. Let's see what they have in store for us. No more speculating.

Naturally, Paro has mixed feelings about the impending marriage. Little does she know, that life has other plans for her. Like you, I am curious to see how she deals with a man like Rudra too.

Thanks! Ah yes, sort of in a forced hiatus at the moment. Hopefully, RR will get it started again :)

@Aria-although sinister, its hitting two birds with a single stone, what Thakur seems to do! In fact, many birds! He gets the girls married! He will be hailed for his 'goodwill' & will therefore, have the villagers' loyalty! Then, he gets to smuggle arms & ammunition, therefore fullfilling his ultimate ulterior motive! Perhaps why villainy disguised by sugary sweetness leaves such a bad taste in the mouth, worse than what's done, openly!
P.S: Your Pablo's Muse is my all-time favourite AR based FF! Liquorice Burning, although set in an alternate universe,is perhaps what should've been, in the show!

Well said, but if he scorches. She will be his antithesis. No doubt she will go through a lot but something has to give way. Including that innocence...

For this to work and for love to find its way. Okay, I'm starting to sound too cheesy now😆

Yes, smart Thakur😃 lets wait and see who trumps him.

@bold, I'm thrilled you say that. I honestly did not expect to run into anymore new readers for PM, so this is a pleasant surprise indeed :) Please do not mention LB anymore...shhh!, I'm starting to fear that my readers will find me here😆
