Shaan was standing leaning over the parapet, watching the front yard garden..full of various beautiful flower plants and some fruit plants ; he was waiting for Khanak. And yes!! she came there. He felt her presence and smiled inwardly. Leaning her back against the parapet, her both hands kept on her either side on the parapet, Khanak faced him.

He was still looking at the garden and said "ek aur baat kehna tha..." then finally he looked at her. She was smiling which he missed so much all these time. He apologized too "I'm sorry too Khanak, sorry for whatever I did..for misunderstanding you, hurting you..and for last night too. You don't know Khanak what I felt when I learnt that whatever I thought about you and...and... damn!! What's his name??"

Khanak was lost in his eyes which were full of remorse. "leave that and go ahead, I'm listening" she shrugged, at that moment she only wanted to talk and hear only about Them'..she doesn't care about others.

"yeah.. that guilt was eating me up. And then the Marriage news..I completely lost my mind. You can't imagine how happy I was when I saw you in that room holding a basket full of flowers" he smiled recalling the beautiful image of Her of that day. And the very next moment, his expression changed.."I wanted to talk with you, but you just left with your cousins". Khanak didn't try to clarify, but he had understood her..like always! "I know you hadn't had a choice but I hoped that you'll refused to them and come with me. And I became mad once again, decided to meet you on that night itself. I behaved like a selfish person and fought with you...again!! I'm sorry for that too...sorry for everything"

"Its okay. Tumhe bhi maafi mil gayi" she forgave me instantly...like always!! "we both are to be blamed for all these. Now let's just forget about all these" she smiled.

"yeah" he smiled back..lovingly.

They became lost in each other eyes...conversing with each other...assuring each other that everything is fine now.. they're together now and they'll be together...forever & ever.

"Suno !!" It was Khanak who broke the silence first. "Can I get a hug??" she asked.

Shaan was again amused seeing her boldness.

"please??" she requested again.

He turned his face and looked straight to the front garden, smiled, and bit his bottom lip just to avoid blushing. But Damn!!! He did blushed and it took her breathe away.

She was waiting but he didn't do anything. Disappointed, she turned her head and looked the other way. She was confused when Shaan suddenly, holding her waist, dragged her to his side, to the warmth of his arms...to himself. And giving his dimpled smile, embraced her petite figure. He hugged her tightly yet so gently. She was no more confused now!! Yes, its not a dream.. Its him..Its Them!! That realization overwhelmed her heart. She stood on tiptoe, encircled his neck firmly trying to get a hold of him. They stood there like that for times.. only God knows for how long, enjoying the feel of each other, the warmth of each other...breathing the smell of each other.

"I missed you..so much" he whispered to her hair, fanning some of them by his warm breathe.

"I missed you too" she too whispered and the hair at the nape of his neck stood up..on a reflex he tightened his grip more.

And everything again became fine.., normal..just the same.. as it used to be...as it should be; between them...the friendship, the understanding, the love..all!!

"Suno, mujhe ek aur baat bhi kehni thi" she spoke not breaking away from the hug.

"Kya??" he didn't try to break their hug either.

He didn't have any idea what she was going to say.

"I love you" There!! There it was. She said still enjoying the warmth of his body and arms wrapped around her. She didn't know it was the right time or the wrong. She only knew she had to say it, she couldn't wait anymore. She felt so good after confessing her love for him.

On the other hand his expression was priceless.. Surprise, happiness, satisfaction, excitement, love all in one. He tightened his arms around her..he squeezed her...not letting even the air pass between them. Action speaking louder than words.

She felt she was on cloud nine..she felt LOVED. Yes, of course he loves her...loves her only!!

For quite sometime, none spoke...sinking in the feeling of being loved.

She breathed in at his neck...and discovered it's the best smell she had ever smelt.

"Shaan, say something" she wanted to listen those words as well ,which she had just felt, being in his arms.

But as always he was the biggest tease ever "Thank you" said with his mischievous smile.

She was confused hearing his reply, jerking her head backward she looked at him, still in his embrace, her feet now touched the floor completely complementing his height "what?? I said I love you Shaan" she said it again thinking that he hadn't heard it correctly.

"I heard it right Khanak, you know nah I'm not a deaf" she smirked.

Now she understood it very well "Shaaannn!!!"

"Khanaaakkk" he replied in the same tone.

"come on yaar, you are not supposed to say this"

"oh yea?? Then what I'm supposed to say" he broke the hug and crossed his arms across his chest instead, replied with a chuckle.

She pouted "I know you love me too... I know it very well"

"wow!! Then I don't see the need of me saying it" he was enjoying it.

"I want to hear it" she sounded eager and blushed.

He came little closer "what's the hurry madam??" those mischievous eyes!!!Isn't he sexy??

"shaan please , don't be a tease" she whined like a baby, blushed too.

"you know Khanak, I AM a tease" Aahhh!!! That smile of him..makes her drool over him.

"watch out Shaan, I can make you say it too" she said with that glint in her eyes.

"like how??" he asked in his husky voice sending millions of butterflies to her stomach.

And there we go again!!! Eyes locked with each other, they lost in each other.

She was about to whack him when he ran, of course he was faster than she thought.

"whoa!!! You are back to your Jhaansi ki Raani avatar" he said while running from her.

"yes, and that's exclusively for you" she answered back while running after her, trying to catch him.

Tanushree, Arpita, Sameer and Kunal were chatting with Khanak's mother, Kamini; when they all saw Shaan came there running and laughing, right after him, Khanak too came there. And whoa!! She was running & laughing too. Hello!! What's happening here??? They were all confused .shaan stopped just beside Kamini and Khanak collided with his shoulder as she was running after him. Their friends were staring at them with a confused look while they were trying to catch their breath.

"don't tell me the house has caught fire Guys" Sameer asked out of the blue.

"whattt???" both Shaan and Khanak said at the same time.

"why are you guys running like this??" Arpita asked.

Shaan shrugged "oh... nothing!" and looked at Khanak who giggled.

Tanushree winked "noth---thing!!"

"chalo, raheno do bhai, lovers' matter it seems" Kunal said and all laughed.

Shaan and Khanak blushed. But Kamini was carefully watching them. Finally all is well. She could see it, the happiness in their eyes. She sighed in relief.

"okay, abhi sab suno meri baat. Boys you are going to the hotel's back in the evening to get all your luggage here" Kamini announced "and Girls you can wait here"

"aisa kyu??" Shaan asked.

"aisa issiliye, kyun ki you all are going to stay here with us. What did you all think?? Mere yaha hote main tum sab ko hotel me rahene doongi??" Kamini told them.

"haan woh baat toh hai" everyone laughed.

"Aap ki hukkum sir-ankhon pe, Juliet!!" Shaan said placing his hands on his heart.

"hayee Juliet is flattered" Kamini grinned.

"Tanushree beta, teri fashion show kab hai??" Kamini asked Tanushree.

"jii aunty, day after tomorrow" Tanushree replied.

"wah!! Good. Wish you all the luck beta. Woh kya kahete hai.. Rock it!!!"

Tanushree smiled broadly "Thank you so much aunty" and hugged her.

Shaan wished her too "best of luck Tannu"

"keep it safe to yourself for now. You all are coming to watch my show, wish me then" Tanushree ordered them.

"of course, we will come re" Shaan smiled.

"yup, teri show hai aur hum na aaye.. no way!!" Khanak gave her thumbs up.

Kunal too nodded in yes.

"but I'll come only on one condition" Arpita said very seriously.

"what's that??" Tanushree asked her.

"you have to make me the show stopper" Arpita pouted.

And all bursted out laughing.
