The clinking of her bangles broke his trance !! There she was, dressed in a purple razorback tee,white jeans and sneakers. She looked sapped of all energy,utterly exhausted.

Almost instinctively, he ran and sealed her in an impermeable hug,not even allowing air to pass !! Their bodies were clamped in oneness !!

" Oh, Khanak,where were you "?

She felt a sensation run through her,never felt before. His rugged masculinity, intoxicating voice and those strong arms almost took her breath away !!

She tried to break the shackle but in vain. He was too overpowering !!

" Shantanu, leave me !! Please chharo amake ( leave me ) "!!

" What's wrong with you "? " You are behaving as if I was lost ". " Do you always over - react like this "?

Rage, getting the better of him, he grabbed her by the arms pushing her, pinning her to the wall …..

" I Over - react ? " " That's what you really think "? His strong grip digged into her upper arms leaving them sore and aching but he wasn't ready to give up yet !! His bloodshot pupils were unnerving her !!!

" Well Ms. Valiant, what according to you is over - reacting actually means worrying " !!!! " And yes, I was worried to death because you are new to the country and have no clue about the city, and moreover you are on a tourist visa and are supposed to carry your passport everytime you step out of the house,which I'm sure you didn't ". " Singapore is a country where the laws are far harsher than other and even slightest of mistakes amount to serious crimes ".

" It has taken me some time to understand how your retarded brain functions but now I"m getting a hang of it ". I am pretty sure you're not used to people taking care of you ". It's beyond your dignity when someone does so ". " Your bloated ego doesn't allow you to think ". " I'm surprised you stayed with your parents for so long, you should've moved out long time ago ".

" Don't get paranoid Shantanu and leave me, you are hurting me ".

" Hurting? " Does Ms. Khanak Banerjee ever get hurt "? " She's an athlete, she's strong, she doesn't need help, she can survive friendless in an unknown country, she hates love ".

Their bodies almost knotted together were panting heavily !! Moreso he, blinded with rage was fuming !! All her endeavor to free herself proved futile !!!

She was pasted against the wall with him all over her, his hands on the wall completely encircling her, their heavy breaths crossing paths at tandem !!

He banged the door of his room and the din frightened her !!! For the first time she realized that here was someone who had an entirely different side to him……

" Shantanu,come and eat something,it's pretty late and am sure you haven't had anything ".

Her banging on the door was in vain.

" I haven't had anything as well and I'm famished ".

If he's acting pricey,it's his problem. I'm not going to starve myself for a morone…..

Post a sumptuous dinner cooked by the man who was going hungry for the night, she retired to her room satiated but jumpy,reasons of which were still incognito !!

Though completely exhausted with the adventurous jaunt, sleep was still playing hard to get….

Why can't I sleep ? Is it because that nerd in the other room didn't eat anything ? C'mon !!! it can't be that !!!

God,I need some sanity !!
