Part 25A

Reaching Delhi, they all went to the hotel which Tanushree had already booked for them to stay for the time being.

It was 15 mins past 4, when they reached there. After getting fresh, they all sat together, discussing what to do next.

"ab aur kya karenge?? 6.30 bajne tak waite karte hai phir we all will go & find out the surprise" Sameer said.

"no, I can't wait that long, I am going to meet her,,,, to her house ". Shaan got up from the sofa & told everyone.

Kunal stopped him "par tujhe uski ghar ka address pata hai??"

"nahi, par main kuch bhi karke pata karloonga" Shaan spoke.

"arey I have her address, Kanks sent me a mail the other day" saying this Tanushree grabbed her i-phone & checked through the read mails. "ek pen aur paper de na please".

Arpita gave her a pen & a piece of paper. She noted down the address & handed it over Shaan.

"thanks" Shaan took it in his wallet & strode towards the door.

"wait, Shaan. We are coming " Kunal got up to get ready.

"no, Kunal. I want to meet her, talk to her first. You guys come afterwards" Shaan said.

"private talk, huh??" Arpita winked.

He smiled & went out, closing the door behind him.

He pressed the bell, but no response. He again did it but still no response. Fear started clousing his mind. He repeated it again & again, but no one came to open the closed door.

Meanwhile a lady of mid age, noticed him & said "ghar me koi nahi hai beta "

Shaan turned to face the lady and with a confused look asked "matlab??"

"arey beta, doctor sab ki mera matlab hai Aniket ji ke beti ki aaj shaadi hai na, toh sab log shaadi ki venue me gaye hai koi Habitat World naam hai" the lady gave him a shocking information.

Someone called the lady, she excused herself. And Shaan was too shocked to ask her anything more.

On the other hand Kunal was trying to call Shaan. It was almost 6 but still there was no news from Shaan.

Arpita asked him while tying her hair in a pony-tail "Kunal, tumhe ready hona hai ki nahi?? Its almost 6, we should be leaving now, aur tum ho ki abhi tak change bhi nahi kiya,,,,, go and get ready".

Kunal got irritated "off ho kya hai ?? ready,,,,,change??huh,,,, ab hum koi shaadi me thodi na jaa rahe hai jo ek-do ghante lagengey. Arey ek jeans aur shirt pahenneme zaada time nahi lagta'"

"ok fine" Arpita made a face at him & left striding away.

Kunal looking at his cell, said to himself "ab yeh Shaan kaha rahe gaya??"

Suddenly Kunal's phone started ringing "lo agaya call". He answered "Shaan, tu hai kaha?? Hum kabse,,,,,,,, "

Shaan didn't let him finish "Khanak ki shaadi hai aaj"

What?? Kya kaaha tu ne ??" Kunal couldn't believe his ears.

Shaan repeated "Khanak ki shaadi hain,,,, woh bhi aaj"

"Shaan tu mazak ke mood me toh nahi hai na???"

"kunal main mazak me bhi aisi baatein nahi kar sakta. Uske saare gharwale venue par hai, ghar me koi nahi hai" Shaan said in frustration.

Where's the venue??"

"Habitat World"

"arey, yeh toh wohi hall hai, jaaha Khanak ne hume bulaya hai, toh iska matlab uski surprise yeh hai??" Kunal said it more to himself than Shaan.

"I hope not" Shaan sighed.

"My God" Kual slapped his forehead using his hand.

"Kunal main jaa raha hoon" Shaan declared.

"kaha??"

"shaadi todney, Khanak aise shaadi nahi karsakti yar" Shaan rubbed his chin.

"kya??" Kunal almost shouted.

"aur kya??"

"no, I mean. Tu ruk waha, hum abhi aarahe hai" Kunal said as if preparing his mind for the next world-war.

"arey, main yaha ruka toh waha shaadi hojaegi yar" Shaan said horrified.

"who bhi baat hai, ok tu hotel pohoch, hum bhi wahi aa rahe hai"

"ok"

Cutting the call, Kunal went to the next room, the other 3 were there.

"guys jaldi chalo, shaadi todney jaana hai" he announced.

"what???" Arpita, Sammer & Tanushree said together, with a horrified look.

Kunal, Arpita, Tanushree & Sameer reached the venue. From the car window, they saw Shaan running & going inside. "there,,,there he is" Sameer exclaimed.

Getting down from the car they strode towards the main entrance, when Kunal suddenly stopped & called his wife "ARPITAAA,,,,,,,,,"

Arpita stopped in her way, turned back & saw Kunal aghast as if he has seen a ghost. "kya hua??" she asked.

"look at me" Kunal spoke.

"Kunal, are you serious???" she glared at him.

"arey just look what I am wearing" he pointed at himself.

Arpita looked at him from bottom to top & then again top to bottom. He was wearing only his white vest & black track pants. But her reply was exactly the opposite of what he had expected, "main ne kaha tha tumse ready ho jao,,,ab kya ?? chalo,,,,, at least you are dressed" she said.

"arey yar shaadi me AISEY(pointing at his clothes) kapre pahen ke jaaungaa??" he asked with a expression of 'are you mad??'

"Kunal, na toh yeh tumhari shaadi hai, aur nahi tum yaha shaadi me nach ne aye ho, so don't waist the time" holding his hand she started dragging him.

Suddenly Tanushree, called them "Arpi,,,, Kunal come here jaldi"

Kunal & Arpita were left behind, so they ran to them.

"kya hua??" Arpita asked.

"look there" Sammer pointed at the wedding board.

Arpita, and Kunal looked at that direction.

"OH MY GOD" Arpita said one word at a time.

"shitt, we need to stop Shaan" Kunal couldn't believe what was happening around them.

And then all of them started running towards the entrance. And all the guest were watching them, all were confused of what was going on.

Meanwhile Shaan already reached the place where the mandap was created. He could see Aniket there standing, Kamini brought the bride & made her seat beside the groom & then stood by his husband's side.

Shaan was horrified & shouted on top of his lung "RUKO, YEH SHAADI NAHI HO SAKTI" exactly in the filmy style.

When his for friends reached there, Shaan had already dropped the bomb. They heard him saying the most famous typical hindi movie dialogue "yeh shaadi nahi ho sakti". And as the result of this explosion everyone present at the wedding stood still at there place.

"God!!! Pick me up" Tanushree said grabbing Sameer's hand.

And Arpita was one more step ahead from her. She swayed on her feet as if she is about to faint & let herself completely lean on her husband's shoulder.
