@Pranjal: How sweet is yur comment ..thanks so much..I LOVE Marathi songs too..especially abhang geet..in fact in Katra even though Khanak is from Baroda she follows Kirana gharana which was made famous in Maharashtra originated in UP..but made famous in Maharastra..Pt. Bhimsen Joshi belongs to Kirana..I hope you enjoy Katra..I also listen to loads of Marathi film songs..currently my Ipod has max hits on Mann Udhaan Varyache; Jhimb Phisale re and Jeev Dhangla Hariharan's voice in the last one and Shankar's in the first two leave you wanting for more..

The morning sees her in the kitchen helping Harilal set up the breakfast..Daadi walks in and they smile at each other..Harilal carries the tray out..Daadi follows him..

Daadi: Chalo tum bhi aajao ..

She: Abhi aatee hoon..Daadi..( and gets busy putting the final touches)

Harilal: Bade Saab bula rahe hai..office ke liye der ho rahee hai..

She: Aati hoon..(hands over the second tray to him)

As she walks in..she can see Akshay bhaiya and Aada cracking a joke and her husband is deep into some papers..he is hardly eating she notices..she sits next to him without a word..stares at her plate..and tries to involve herself in Bhabhee's conversation..until..

He: (whispers into her shoulder): Mujhe vapas aane mein der hogee..tum rukogee ya so jaogee..?

She: (tucks her hair behind her ear): Rukoongee..!

He: (bites into his toast with a smile): Sofa pe..?

She: (puts butter on another piece and passes it to Aada..smiles and turns): Jahaan raat pukaare..

He: (grins and knifes his heart): Ay haye!

Sunil and Akshay get up from the table..he follows..not without turning to her and waving a small bye..she mouths bye..

Later in the day, while she is busy folding clothes and putting them away..the phone rings..

She: Hello..

He: Tho batao..tumne kabhi kissiko kiss kiya hai..(twirls the pen between his fingers and grins into the phone)

She: (twirls the phone wire and smiles into the phone): haan..

He: (big eyes): Kahan? Aur Kisse?

She: (presses her lips together and sly smile): Kaisi baat kar rahe hai aap?..abhi nahin..

He: (lays back on his chair): Abhi kyun nahin?

She: (continues to twirl): Koyee sunega tho..

He: Arrey kaun hai sunne walla..?

She: (smiles): Woh baat bhi hai..waise mere pati ghar pe nahin hai..!

He: (straightens himself): Kya?!!!..

She: (grins): Haan..isiliye ab baat kar sakte hai..

He: KYA??!!??

She: (grins): Tho aap kya pooch rahe the?

He: (sulks and grimaces): Main jaake tumhare pati se poochta hoon..(hangs up)

She hangs up and bursts out laughing..the phone rings again..

He: Kaho na..please..

She: Mere pati der se aayenge..aap shaam ko keejeye..fursat se baat karenge..

He: KYA??? I don't believe this..

She bursts out laughing ..hangs up..goes back to folding the clothes..and walks down to the kitchen to prepare dinner..

He has had a long day..he misses her..he walks into the house..it past 11..Harilal is up and about..he refuses dinner..says he has eaten already..walks into the room..he can't see her in the dark..he steps into the bathroom..is out and notices her on the sofa..he walks towards her..pushes her errant hair back..she stirs..opens her eyes..

She: Aap aa gaye..?

He: Tum yahan kyun so rahee ho..?

She: Aap ke bina wahan neend nahin aa rahee thee..

They smile at each other..walk to the bed together..sleep in each other's arms..not before..

She: Gaal pe..Suraj ko..

He: (with the tip of his finger on his lips): Tho mujhe..yahan..!!

She: (shies away with a sly smile): Kahan? Kaise?

He: (takes her hand): Aise mere peeth pe haath rakhna aur..

She: (fists him with her other hand): Bahut badmaash hote jaa rahe ho..

He: (holds her closer): Come on..jaldi..tumhare pati aane se pehle..

She: KYA??!!

He bursts out laughing and kisses her hard..

Saaz, reading this has sent me to RBO dreamland...you have magic in your words and the way you write them.

LOL while reading the phone conversation...just the way it used to be, so simple and yet so alluring, it is such a cute one. This is called sweet torture, you took me back again to some of the best days of RBO.

Seriously thanks for reminding me why I fell in love with this one so easily. What a awesome way to reminisce of the "golden" days. Now please continue...I cannot get enough of it. 😊
