I just couldn't resist it anymore. I have been wanting to write a message to the RBO heads & producers for the longest time now, ever since the 2nd fake-not so great-DHulwadi track, and only now did I sent this message out to Yash Patnaik's facebook & Swapnaji's facebook. And I am posting it here just to see what you all think. And Veena, if by any means, you think that this message wasn't appropriate at all, then you can block/ close this thread right at that instant you feel it was unreasonable for me to open this New Topic. šŸ‘šŸ¼

I want the old Golden RBO days back so bad, that I couldn't hold myself longer. I want to enjoy RBO (with the new twist of the 2nd season of the show ofcourse) like before, during the Shanak being friends, falling in love, after acclaiming their feelings for each other, etc...those days were glorious for me. Lately, I haven't been enjoying RBO so much. I thought, with the "2nd season", new characters, twists, and changes, RBO would be an awesome 'chocolate everyday possible' treat to watch, but I don't know why I just don't get the feel of it. For the past few weeks, I just read the live updates, or written updates and that's it. Whereas before, I would read the updates, watch the episode, and then rewatch the episodes a few more times. And I was more intrigued to write this msg after reading the threads of the "anniversary of Shanak's KKH magic", so I linked that in the message as well. Ok, so enough of my talking, I can go on & on, if I could 😳, but I just want to say is, these are just MY Opinions. I am not asking anyone to agree or disagree, but would surely like to hear what you think. I tried to be formal in the message with spell check and everything, but it just didn't come out that way and I blabbered on. So, don't take it personally anyone. It is just a show, which we watch to enjoy and then move on with out life. To each to its own...ok, I will seriously stop this time let you guys read the message. That is if you are not tired or bored by the first few lines.šŸ˜• Oh, if you want me to send this message to anyone else related to the creative side of the show, then please let me know, or you can just sent them yourselves if you wish to. ok, I will stop, So Go Ahead:

This is a humble request from all of us 1000 (perhaps more) viewers to better the show and live up to its mark. Even though RBO got its 2nd season, with a major change in the story line and characters, it is not working at all. This change in the show could do wonders. The creatives, story writers or whoever is in charge of the show's plots and episodes are not taking the full advantage of it. We (viewers) are not trying to imply that we are pros @ TV productions dept. or anything related to the media industry, but after all, the show IS being made for us audiences. It is only for our and the show's best interest that we are voicing our opinions or recommending some suggestions to make the show better than it is now. If the forums (ie. india-forums) are checked, it can be read that many viewers are unhappy or dissatisfied with the current episodes that has been airing in the past few weeks. Sure, there are some scenes that we go GaGa over, but that's only bcz those are some of the few good Shaan & Khanak scenes that we get to see out of the lot fillers episodes, or not so great scenes. And there has been nothing going on between Shanak these days besides some over the top romantic dialogues between SHanak or scenes like attempting to come close to each other but failing. Of course we love the cute romantic or nok-jhok scenes between Shanak, but there is a limit. I mean a husband & wife cannot say lovey dovey dialogues or appreciate each other ALL the times that they meet. In reality couples do argue, disagree w/ each other, fight, talk it out, etc..and that is a part of being in Love or relationship. Ok, there are some scenes where Shaan is upset about not getting any job & Khanak supporting him, but those are so miniscule. Those are over before we can so wow, he/she was great in that serious mood or scene, except for the last Maha Episode. It was the best one after the longest time. I mean there has to be something going on between our much loved couple. I am not saying it has to be a melodramatic show, with all the rona dhona, extra-marital affair shaffair, or love triangles & stuff, absolutely not. The main reason I started watching this show was because it wasn't like other shows. We just want something of value and essential between Shanak. Even if it has to be done with comedy, nok-jhok, masti, etc.. Something that is more of Shanak and other characters can be fixed in here and there. There could be so many possible tracks going on with Shanak,.Just ask some one to visit some forums (again ie: india-forums) or even the RBO fan page. People leave thousands of suggestions & recommendations.

And recently, on June 25th, it was our forum members' 'made up' anniversary of Shanak's magic. (https://india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1715231) Seriously & literally speaking, that was the date many others & I had started watching RBO. I saw the Kuch Khaas Hai sequence promo on TV one day & watched that episode and I was hooked. Before that day, I had never watched a single episode of RBO, but after the KKH episode, I "youtubed" all the previous episodes of RBO & still keep watching them till date. Kuch Khaas hai sequence was THE BEST time of the show. According to me ofcourse, and may be others might also agree with this. It was just THE best episode. I am not talking about just the song seq,, but the whole 2-3 episodes within that song. The long conversation between Shanak was amazing. And even the episodes after the KKH one, those were absolutely amazing too. I think those were the golden days of RBO where we could hardly find fault in the plot, story line or the roles of the leads or other characters, or their dressing costumes. (Well, the costumes is a diff. topic or issue, so I shall not bring it up) Everything was perfect then; the editing, the scenes, dialogues, and the major major important issue, the CONTINUITY of the scenes & sequences in the show. Everything was wonderful then. RBO has no sense of continuity whatsoever nowadays. One day the episode could end in one particular scene, & the following day, the characters are shown in totally different place, which has no resemblance or relation to the prior scene shown to us viewers. It makes no sense at all. Seriously, the directors needed to be changed. I only wish the old directors of the older episodes would direct RBO again. May be it is just the direction that is in fault or to be blamed. And the editing too, because sometimes the editors just omit the good shanak scenes that will be shown in the precap, but not in the actual episode telecast. What sense does that make? And those were some of the scenes that we like to watch. I can understand that there are pressures of time limit and many other problems we don't know about, so not everything can be perfect. But we are not asking for perfection, we are asking for good Shanak story. That's it. And good EXECUTION of the show. Only God knows if anyone has read this long letter-like note of my blabbering, but if anyone did, then please, please, take these points into consideration. It is only for the better of the show. And I am speaking for others as well who have the same opinions as I do. We want to enjoy & like the show for the longest time possible, instead of just letting go of the show and moving on to find another good show to watch. And me personally, I have never done this kind of writing messages for shows before and right now I have 10 different things going in my own life, for which to escape, the daily hectic problems of my life, I Used to like to watch shows like RBO. So that, for the mere 20 mins of my day, I can forget everything else and simply enjoy the show instead of getting pissed off of something bogus shown on TV& then flipping channels back & forth. I still do watch RBO, but honestly, don't enjoy as much as I used to back in the Golden Days. So, if anyone would like to consider our suggestions, then AWESOME! If not, then Oh Well, we tried. Everything is in your hands anyways.

THANK You for Shanak & RBO J

(God I can talk so much! Sorry, if I offended anyone or came out rude or anything of that sort. I honestly didn't mean to. I was just trying to make RBO the best show possible in the channel or amongst us viewers. So, no hatred towards anyone, PEACE !! :D

@ tina2mina

Nice of you to take time out to write this letter/note to the producers of RBO. Shows how much you care abt this show.

I too personally believe KKH sequence was the best executed in RBO till date. There have been many good ones but KKH was unique.

I also liked the 1 hr maha episode.

RBO CVs usually consider viewers' feedback, from whatever I have seen here. So hope this note will also be read.

hey! nice post. thanks for taking the time out to make and send it 😊

While i agree with the rest of it, i differ on one point. i hope that in the new track 'Shanak' will be more than just about being khanak supporting shaan all the time. khanak needs to be shown more than just being there for her husband, cooking food for puppy and bringing water for other characters. I long to see the give and take, to and fro magic created by the KKH sequence in the show again.

The beauty of the memorable KKH sequence in my opinion was that it was Shaan, Khanak AND Shanak. A beautiful balance created between the feelings, personalities and fears of the two lead characters.

That equalibrium is something which has gone missing in the show since december. It's either only Shaan or only Khanak but rarely 'Shanak'.
