You seem to be smitten by Khanak. Tell us about your feelings for her'
I am a self-confessed flirt and Casanova, and have been in relationships with many girls, but Khanak is different. She is very simple, and that is what attracted me towards her. I hope I manage to win her heart.

What qualities do you like in Khanak?
Khanak is innocent, cute and feminine. All the girls I have been with in the past were smart and modern, but Khanak is completely unlike any of them. I love the way she says 'Good neend' instead of 'Good night' and 'Thanku' instead of 'Thank you'. She is just adorable.

What is your mantra in life?
'Be confident' is my mantra in life. I never give up, no matter how tough the situation is. I am confident that I can find a solution to every problem in life.

As Karan, what do you like about the character Adi?
Adi is a badmash, but he is not bad at heart. In my previous show Jugni Chali Jalandhar, I played a simple guy, who loved and respected his parents. I am glad I got to play a completely different character in Rang Badalti Odhani. Adi is bold and confident. He knows how to win people over. He is good with people who treat him well and bad towards others. As an actor, Adi gave me the opportunity to show my versatility in acting. I am thankful to STAR One and Yash Patnaik for giving me this opportunity. However, in real life, I am completely unlike Adi. I am polite and behave well with people.

Is your dressing style in real life similar to Adi in any way?
When it comes to dressing, I am a bit like Adi. I also like trendy and comfortable clothes. However, my outfits are toned down as compared to Adi. I don't wear torn jeans, a gunji, and chains in real life.

Tell us about your rapport with your co-stars and the team of Rang Badalti Odhani'
On the first day of the shoot, everyone was very formal, and we only exchanged pleasantries. The next day onwards, I started having lunch with the team - including the actors, our director and cameraman. Now, we have become close friends, and I miss crew members when they are not on the sets. I enjoy chatting with Karan Tacker and imitating Yashashri when she speaks in Marathi. I pull her leg a lot.

The Rang Badalti Odhani team is known to be full of pranksters. Have you been a victim of a prank? Have you played a prank on your co-stars?
When the shoot is on, I am a complete professional. I am a director's actor, and prefer to focus on my performance. Off-screen, we do play a lot of pranks. The other day, I had to say some simple dialogues, but I added some lines to them, which made it very funny, and everyone burst out laughing.

There are three Karans in the show: Karan Tacker, Jas Karan Singh and you. Does this create confusion on the sets?
Yes, there is a lot of confusion due to our names. It is the same story everyday. The director asks one Karan to move left and the other Karan moves, and so on.

You are a trained dancer. Will we get to see your dancing skills on the show?
I am just waiting for an oppurunity to dance in the show. Yashji and Swapnaji are aware of my dancing skills, so I hope they create a situation where I get to dance. My fingers and toes are crossed (laughs). I am an aspiring actor in the show, so you may just see me shaking a leg soon.

Have you ever experienced a similar situation as Adi's in real life, where you have challenged someone?
My behavior in real life is completely unlike Adi. I don't like picking up fights with people, and instead prefer to be polite and make people feel comfortable. No, I have never had to challenge anyone in life.

Any message for fans of Adi?
I want to thank everyone for accepting Adi and not hating him. Normally, people hate any character that comes in between the lead pair, but the feedback that I have received is surprising. I promise to keep entertaining you.
