Khanak- a woman's prerogative

I vowed I won't make a topic today but I couldn't help it.

I am not married but yet I am a woman and more so a daughter.

Today I felt Khanak's pain. More than Shaan's pain, I felt her pain and I cried more due to her pain. A woman of character who prides on her husbands ability. Who thrives him to make a man out of himself. Who pushes him and support him to no end. Something Shaan always looked for was love from his loved one or attentions from them to tell him where he was wrong or what he needed. He wanted to be told to pursue his own dream from his family but was never told so. He wanted to be his own man and be appreciative in his parent's eyes but was never told. He was always told that there is no need of him or made to feel that way from his family from day one. But then came Khanak, who told him otherwise. She told him that he needs to be independent because he lacks it. A woman he never thought he would love or fall in love with but he did. She gave him everything that he secretly wanted and desired from his family. These were the real things he lacked and she fulfilled them.

Her character who prides on her husband's goodness and his heart. No matter who he is to the world, to her he is her love and everything. His little things are her pride and she wants him to work hard. She wants him to show the world who he is on his own.

I felt HER pain when Shaan was being insulted and looked down upon. I felt HER pain when Shaan was shown to be useless and loser. I felt HER pain when Shaan was being scolded by his Dad at that age. I felt HER pain when Shaan was given the tanas.

Why did I feel Her pain and not Shaan's?

Because no woman can stand and see her husband getting insulted. No woman can stand back and see her husband down. No woman can see her hubby called a loser or a no body.

She is very well aware of his situation and yet she wants to be his support. She can't sit back and let her husband fall. She is his pillar and I felt that today.

She may not be educated and may not have dialogues or limelight but she is the one who will stand out the most to me. She has everything that a woman wants. She is that proud figure for all women.

As a woman, I am proud to say that Khanak is that figure who has been shown the same through out the journey of RBO. She has always been that one character that followed through. She was shown a strong-willed and lovable and bubbly person who would do anything for her love and she even showed that today!

I can proudly say that she is a role model for all the women out there!

I am looking forward to see her role in all this. More than Shaan, I am awaiting to see how she will come through!

Go Khanak! Women power!!!😆

PS: I am not a feminist!😆

Good post rooj
ya even I felt for khanak too wife is a big support for husband in this kind of situation
but the lap scene it took my heart away and rooj this is story of shanak they both are at the limelight because after leaving house they have go through many hurdles and without khanak Shawn is going to lose his battle with his own carrier so this is the story of Shanak
and second thing took my heart away was when he was talking about his mom to khanak I really felt bad because for kid mom is everything

Excellent topic Rooj👍🏼...Lovely post Rooj and Disha...
Shantanu is Khanak shaan ie her pride...Both as the wife and due to her love...So as a wife she felt hurt, from her husband's hurt pride and as a loving wife she felt unable to see Shaan in pain...But rather than crying buckets and become his weakness...She becomes his strength and pushes him forward at the same time too...
It will be interesting to see how world outside the K-house will affect our KFD...Till now she was a Khandelwal Bahu, resposible for her home and family...Now it will be just herself and Shaan😊..

Beautiful post Rooj! 👏
I'm sure everyone has heard the phrase 'behind every successful man, there is a woman.' Although it's thrown around a lot these days, i truly believe there's an element of truth in it.
Just take a look at Shanak... Khanak is without a doubt Shaan's support, his strength, his reason for believing in himself and his dreams!
Her unrelenting support for him, her guidance, love and compassion have been the stability that Shaan has craved and needed all his life. Without her, he would be half the man he is today...
I'm also looking forward to seeing how Khanak will come through in all this, and if and how it will affect the dynamics of Shanak's relationship...
Edit: Just wanted to add to the above... i know this will make Shanak's bond stronger, but i'm looking for more in the way of Shaan realising what Khanak does for him, and reciprocating it in a way. She supports his dreams and encourages him, and would like for Shaan to do the same for her, as i do feel she need's something to broaden her horizons - which is important for growth of character...

awwwsome post
for a married man the greteat insult is to be called a loser in front of his wife..khanak understood his pain so perfectly
it is really true that she is the only one who has consistently belelived in him loved him for what he is ...and not because he was rich or something like that
She has never expected anything from him in return..she wants his happiness that is it for her..
She definitley is a role model for all women..She might not be educated but the understanding which she possess I doubt very much even if the most educated women would have it..
khanaks character brings out the real meaning of marriage..shaan is nothing without her 😊
khanaks love for her beloved ones is really something we should try to learn and
imitate ...she always has the best for them ..she has a very compassionate heart to
understand problems and act according the demand of the situation ..
for eg.she had married shaan because that time she had to save his life and no other option would achieve it ..
similarly she would act according to the demands of the situation and keep supporting him
shaan is her very own life😊 I am pretty sure she will support him and he would be be highly successful only because f her unrelenting support mainly 😊
I have never ever been a feminist I am a humanist😊
