Word wars

Dadi has rounded up the men and women to talk about the reception on the nite of 2nd. The invites have been sent the food has been chosen, but still many last minute logistical stuff remain. Khanak and Shaan are expected to leave for Boston on the 3^rd, IF Khanak gets her Visa. Her parents were arriving for the reception on the morning of 2^nd.

They ship the young ones off to the rec room to hang out.

Ujju and Ray want to play scrabble. Akhil Akash, Prad and the girls join Khanak upstairs, Shaan knows where it is obviously he brings it out, they set it

Ujju: Bhayya aap bhi! (in broken Hindi)

Shaan: I don't think so!

Raayna: Bhayya Please, Lets make teams Akhil Akash, Me and Ujju You and Bhabhi.

Bhabhi is pissed and will not even sit by him leave alone make a team

Khanak: No teams Ray!

Shaan: You guys should play I might have to leave soon

Akhil: dadi has locked the front doors, you cant go out! (serious)

Shaan: Your Dadi is funny! I used to sneak off to pubs and to meet... friends, she would have no clue, so I am well aware of her curfew (grins)

The pause before friend tells Khanak something

Akash: I am tellin her!

Shaan: what are you? in 4^th grade? (mocks)

Prad: Khanak, lets team up! I am ready!

Her husband is peering down at his phone

Khanak: Let me go check if my stuff got to my room (one of her suitcases is missing)

She returns in a few.

Shaan is seated around the couch also!

Ray: Bhabhi is here, yayyy! This is going to be good!

Her hubby is reading the rules carefully

Khanak: My stuff is here (lies), so I am going to go unpack girls! Sorry, I need clothes for tomorrow (giggles)

Walks out!👏👏👏

In my view.. Even thou Dadi wld knocks sense it has to be Khanak who will have to take that first step.. (i am hoping)

See here the thing.. Shaan cannot be angry on his Khanak for long.. He tends to move on but On the other side Khanak is very adamant that way.. Shaan has been hurt deeply so will keep that Cold vibe just to see how long she will take to make it up to him.. once she does thing will get normal but not as "normal" as they were...

Khanak will prolly not even realize the effect of the action she took for some years.. till when they wld have found a common ground and wld go back on this day Shaan wld tell her how he felt. and vice versa why she did what she did..
