Hi Dyo! 🤗

I feel your pain, really i do... but somewhere along the line i think i've accepted that a decent storyline for Shanak might not happen as we wish...

I'm ok with the odd cameo as long as they support and add weight to Shanak's story. It should never be the other way round, which is what we are currently seeing with the Sasha track. If the result of this track is Shaan realising that he needs to teach Khanak English or about city life for her to feel more comfortable in her surroundings, then it makes sense and doesn't seem so disjointed from Shanak's overall journey.

Being the optimistic that i am, i still hope that one day Shanak will get a meaty storyline, one worthy of KT/YM's talent. With the show going back to a 5 day format and the latest episodes hinting at possible future tracks, we might get some of what we have been hoping for...

Till then, i know i'll keep watching as i'm an incurable Shanak deewani... 😳 ...damn the CV's for exploiting my weakness! Lol.

Have not much to disagree with what u have said. Just have a question:

When does this dreaded IPL end?😡 Just want to know when we can get back our Shaan and Khanak.

This IPL is neither good for cricket nor for TV serials. Same menace every year😡

The neighbor's show is a TRP grosser and is filled with kitsch melodrama

We are coming up with one lame excuse after another for tolerating what they are telling us is "comedy"

They should let KT and YM go and find other jobs

If we keep appreciating and gushing at PSP induced "humor" or Sasha induced "Lessons in Westernization", I can speak for you and I as fans, I will not include anybody else here.

You me and Saaz, we are running the risk of ending the show if we appreciate a hideous product like RBO as it is today

I did ask last week "Whose Odhani is RBO?"

Its definitely not Khanak's

Hugely unfortunate and utterly disrespectful to a pair of great talent

Let us vow not to gush (the three of us only) until they repent for their mistake and bring some sanity back on.

I have very little hope

I have completely stopped watching the show for the past month or so.

Its nothing but a let down!

Thanks for being bold enough and brave enough to call a spade a spade.

Let the Channel and the PH creatives read this and hopefully respond.

It pains me no end to switch on the TV Set every night at 10 PM IST hoping for some miracle...hoping for some resurrection of sorts!!!

If not for anything else, for the sheer merit and loyalty of KT and Yashu!!

As things stand today, gushing is a distant dream...

Had gushed last during the 300th episode...it was an indicator of sorts...the ShaNak journey thus far...

As for the future, maybe there will be a turnaround...am probably deluding myself, but would still want to believe so...

But yes, our gushing is precious...will come, only when well-deserved!!

@Tora: You said it girl! Since December, we have only been watching only for our awesome twosome, KT-Yashu! The odhani has changed so much colour, that at times its hard to believe that this is the same odhani we had all hopelessly fallen in love with! Totally second your thoughts on KT-Yashu...they are unarguably the best in the business today, and surely deserve better!!!

@Aysha: Missed you, Dearie...your thought provoking critique in the Shantanu Khandelwal thread shall remain with me forever 😳 Khanak's education!!...Has become nothing short of a joke, as things stand today...The girl had flawlessly uttered her "Thank You's" during that lovely speech in Pune...yet she repeatedly keeps going back to her Thanku's!!! Ludicrous to say the least!!!😡 Am not sure how much the CVs today understand their characters, but we as viewers have not forgotten a single thing about ShaNak portrayed till date!!

As you have rightly pointed out, the Sasha track is a wonderful oppurtunity for Shaan ki paathshala to reopen...if only the CVs would get their basics right first!! 😆 Maybe, reverting to the 5 day format might hold them in good stead!😛

@Gaayu: IPL actually seems to have become the flavour of the season! 😆 My take...IPL or no IPL, all the parallel tracks ought to revolve around ShaNak, something that has deffo not been happening for the longest time now!

@Smi: Saazy has been extremely kind 😳...par pata nahin kab tak!😆

@bold: Ditto to that!...We love ShaNak/KT-Yashu as if they were one of our own, with Golden RBO in tow! The leads have been gracious enough to acknowledge our love and adulation, whenever they have had a chance...only wish, the CVs would now let their actions do the talking!!!
