Part 5:

Khanak walked towards them, oblivious of Shaan's is it?.. is she?.. why is she?…what if??? glare

Khanak- Hi… am sorry mein yahan kaam nahi karthi.. but I think the lehenga section is over there and vahan pe there is someone who can help you…

And she flashes her million watts smile…

And all the while Shaan is just looking at her with a million questions running in his mind… but not a word to utter..

In the meantime Gopi is back and calls her over to the lehenga section too to try out one…

Shaan is still standing there as though a lightening struck him wondering how to begin…

Natasha- Shaaan… Helllo… kya hua.. kahan gum ho gaye.. chalo..

Shaan- (waking up) – aa ya…

Natasha- Shaan why don't you pick one lehenga for me… am totally confused, yahan pe tho sare ke sare beautiful hein…

Shaan looks around aimlessly for the lehenga while his eyes search for Khanak and …

Natasha – yeh kaisa hai.. just wait here.. mein pehke aathi hoon…

Shaan waits for her, thinking how to approach Khanak.. what will he tell her..

Hi Am Shaantanu, you act well…

Naa… Hi Khanak, you've got beautiful eyes and you act well…

Chiii… Hi… I am Shaan and an actor too…

As Shaan turns around to look at Natasha, he sees Khanak through a reflection on the mirror behind Natasha… His favourite color- red, was what she was wearing… she looked like an angel with her hair fluttering like wings in the air,a peaceful face with a contageous smile, and her eyes... he thought and he uttered

Shaan- gorgeous… wow…bilkul Pari…

Natasha hearing this starts to blush and decides to pick the dress Shaan had not even seen..

And he thinks to himself.. "Tinker Bell".. Before he realizes both Khanak and Natasha are out of his sight… he is lost… when Gopi comes up to him

Gopi- excuse me Sir.. are you looking for something?

Shaan- haai.. yes tinker bell..( he murmers)

Gopi- Ji ??? tinker what??

Shaan- aaa.. sorry… well nothing… (and he picks up a salwar suits) was just checking this suit for myself.. ( and his eyes are still searching for his tinker bell)

Gopi- this one is but…

Shaan- yes this is nice na.. will go try it out..

Gopi- but Sir this is a salwar suit…

Shaan suddenly realizes what he has been blabbering and what he has in his hand.. and says – oops sorry wrong one.. and rushes out from that section..

Gopi stands there giggling when Khanak comes up to her and asks what happened she says- kuch nahi.. burthal!!

And they leave for the photoshoot…

Shaan- kya yaar… aaj pehli baar Shaantanu Khandelwal is having starting trouble.. and vo bhi ek ladki se bath karne keliye…sad dude.. ladkiyon ko yoon patina mere baayen haath ka khel hai and aaj… kuch tho kar Shaan beta .. mauke par chauke maar.. varna..

Natasha- kya akele bad badaraha hai… whats wrong with you today.. meri shopping hogayi, ab chalen?

Shaan- kya ithni jaldi… abhi meri start bhi nahi hui.. mera matlab hai… Shaadi ke dresses hai na… shouldn't pick something up in a hurry…

Natasha- huh???

Shaan repents why he let go of the first opportunity to talk to her… then he has an idea

Natasha tum jao.. mein abhi aaya.. I forgot something in that men's section

Natasha- par tum vahan gaye hi nahi… kya bhool gaye?

Shaan- saval jawab ke liye mere pass time nahi hai.. mein abhi aaya

He rushes out of the shop without Natasha's notice, goes to the flourist opposite the store and picks up some roses and a card and writes

Hi.. Khanak

I am lost in the depth of those dark beautiful eyes..

An admirer..

He sneaks back into the store, and leaves it with the Cashier saying just give this to Khanak, the girl who was trying a red lehenga... and before giving it he scribbles his number, hoping she would give him a call to atleast thank him for the flowers…

Cashier- but sir.. mein kissi Khanak ko nahi jaanta

Shaan- vo red lenga try kar rahi thi.. aur uske bade bade kaale aankhen.. please yaar.. help kardo!!

Cashier smiles at him and says will try but no promises...

Back with Natasha, he says- Chale.. mera kaam ho gaya.. abh chalo.. how long you take to pick clothes.. tum ladkiyaan bhi naa…

Natasha- huh?? Totally confused..

And he prays – Bhagvan mera yeh ek kaam kardo!! and they leave...

After the photoshoot Khanak and Gopi are back, when Gopi sees the bunch of flowers and the card attached to it..(cashier has changed)

Gopi- wow.. roses aur card bhi..

Khanak- sheesh Gopi.. shayad kisi ka hoga.. doosron ke cards padna galath baath hai..

Gopi- chup.. dekthe hein kiss ke liye..

And she opens it to read.. Khanak

Gopi- yeh tereh liye hai... vaah re Khanak... tum tho chupa rustum nikli.. kuch bathaya nahi..

Khanak- paagal hogayi ho kya.. aur mujhe ye mazaak bhilkul pasand nahi..

( but she is curious to know if the flowers are really for her and who has sent it and how come here?)

Gopi- achhaa.. tho teek hai... mein usse security ko de dethi hoon... shayad koi usse doondthe aaye

Khanak- arre nahi.. dikaana zara... trying to snatch it from Gopi..

Gopi starts to sing-- Aashiqu banaya.. aashiqu banaaya..

Khanak- chi.. ghatiya song.. nahi dikhana hai.. tho teek hai.. I am also not desperate to see who it is.. and turns to leave

Gopi- achaa baba... sorry.. mazaak kar rahi hoon... le dekh le..

Khanak turns around, and as though she is doing a favour to Gopi.. picks the flowers and reads the card...and gives a soft, shy, gentle smile.. "An admirer"!!!
