hmmm. you know to be very honest, maybe this way of rom com storytelling works for RBO? being on this forum since day one, i can tell you guys that the show only started getting popular after shanak's adventure trip began. before that it was mostly drama and no matter how well written it was, the show was just not gaining any audience, let alone trps.

i for one am totally fine with the focus on multiple characters. i agree with may that the story can never stray far away from shanak for too long at any one time, but even if it's rom com, i hope that shanak still remain the focul point.

i understand that rom com has given the show better results and it's growing popularity proves that, so how about they weave a nice light track around shanak instead of focusing so much on the second leads, who have no connection whatsoever with shanak's story.

if they mean to keep rajen as a part of this show, then i suggest they start interweaving their story with shanak's. that's the only way they would and could be accepted.

Can I ask for being slightly more creative please? Cuz this is a serial..a drama..not sthing like Khichdi or Sarabhai vs Sarabhai with episodic storylines...

And now after every scene I keep wondering whether he is inspired by his story in it too..

My thought process is sthing like...

He eats Rajma chawal for dinner..so we get Sasha buying canned kidney beans?😕

What kind of movies does he watch that he made Shanak watch?🤣🤣🤣

Is he married? If he is, his wife has surely got a very romantic hubby.🤢

He says SHANTANU is the extension of his real self.If so,shouldn't his fictional self do what the real one does.I mean Rajiv is working as a director of RBO and that doesn't make him old and serious,so sending Shan to work wouldn't make him dull either!Why leave this trait alone?

If being a fun loving guy is to always thinking of making out or making love and nothing else when his wife is distressed and disturbed then I don't know what else to say!I would prefer a guy who would understand her of course.

If being fun loving is not realising what his friend has done and forgiving and hugging him for such a disgusting act then I have no comments either.MMS is one of the most common threats happening to women in this world and it was treated as if its nothing!If RBO is a fun serial then why show that in the first place

As for RaJen everything went over my head,he can blabber all he want but it would take more than a miracle to watch them at least for me!

How about instead of thinking of TRP's think of improving Shantanu's character and giving a story for ShaNak,like the pregnancy track or something else.I am sure the creatives can up with something.After all if they got that job it means they are talented right?If not they can take the stories from the members and I am sure no one would mind.Way better than what we are getting!!

10 out 10... exactly what I think about the TRP and RaJen points...but
Somehow the interview seemed very superficial to me.. sorry.. either the reporter has not penned it down with correct choice of words or it was said like that... but didnt give me a very honest feel...
I would like to believe he meant that Shaan, Khanak, or any of the RBO characters are a more like girl next door, or uncle from the park, aunty from the parlour kind of people and not the over sofiticated, over forgiving and single shaded characters which we normally see on TV either they are too good or the bad ones...

Not really happy they have to get one point in their brain that we are watching this show for shanak and for their track
and other character can revolve round the shanak either it's k family or rajen
we fans are asking them to have a storyline for our beloved shanak instead of that we are getting rajen storyand shanak are acting as a parallel lead
if you guys really want us to sit back and continue watching the show then give more screen space to shanak and good storyline not like Shaan always thinks about physical relation and khanak always fights with the strangers
show some pregnancy issues or some business issues so that husband wife solve this problems together thats how they can have emotional bonding too which is missing in their relationship this is the only show I watch not only for Shaan or for khanak but for shanak

@ Bold, I disagree with that ...Shanak are not parallel leads..They have become guest actors...put up for 2 sec in the begining, 2 sec in the end...It is Rajen who are the leads now with meatier story and few good lines [which unfortunately both are unable to deliver] ..It is Rang Badhalthi odhani No More..It's Ang dikhathi Rahul Now ...
