Maninee Misra who is best remembered for her role in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi and films like Krrish and Fashion,will now be seen an ultra glam avatar of an NRI named Saraswati aka Sasha in Rang Badalti Odhani.She plays best friend to Madhavi Khandelwal,played by Rushali.Maninee will sport ultra glam western wear and will influence the sensibilities of the Khandelwal household.Excited about her latest role,the actress says,I love to play comedy roles.I was last seen in a rather serious role in Kesariya Balam.It was more of like Meena Kumari of Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam so its a welcome change to do comedy again.I am total videshi which is completely opposite to what the lead protagonist is.Producer Yash is a friend and so when he approached me,there was no reason to decline it.Its definitely a good idea to be part of a show that youth segment is watching than to do a typical saas bahu saga.
