Gaayu and Karish.....I personally feel that Marathi is not a tough language, I have never stayed in Mumbai but understand, quite a bit of it !!

Don't you all think that a person who has lived in Mumbai will understand it.........as it is widely used there........

I mean all my friends staying in Maharashtra understand it whether they are marathis or not....................my POV -- it was easy and could be understood ....

Nope Marathi is not at all hard...
