My issue with Womens Day isnt the concept but what it has been reduced to

Instead of taking practical steps for women everywhere we just are reduced to mouthing platitudes, remembering the old days where they didnt have these luxuries and glorifying the strong women(no I dont have a problem with this either!)

There are STILL women out there who need help, who are not lucky enough and we should work towards that.Not just on one day but every day of the year.We should talk about THEM every day, discuss them, think about them and help them.
