Its unfortunate but if the CVs had done a better job am sure the whole cast of RBO would have done justice to any serious track!

yup....deepa..........I was talking about DLMH...........caught a few episodes and found it sensible.......
my question.............if it is not their forte......then why did they approve such a serious issue.........
it was approved on the table..........shows that they have the will to do something different and strong but lack the grit to go ahead with it !! and deal it completely to the hilt !!

PS -- If these ppl think that youth is just about romancing and showing funny instances ......they better think again...........
we have never had so many young poiticians, businessmen, thinkers, social workers and writers winning awards globally than we have in our times...........
who said youth doesn't work in office.........or do all the above serious things........!!!

Great post!
You're totally right in saying that they do not do serious well
They either abandon it-a la divorce track-or they change course somewhere down the line.
Had so many hopes from the Sunny track, the infidelity track but the main issue got lost in the middle somewhere and it all turned out to be something completely different.
Khud tou confused hain hamein bhi confused ker diya!

The current track shows ke cute comedy is RBOs forte so yeah they should stick to that
Here is to wishing they dont pick up any political or environmental or social issues next. Aadhe raaste baad they shall get amnesia and we shall get hypertension.

Even with the widow re-marriage thing they started off with, it was more of a premise to a love story rather than an in depth exploration of the actual issue and its problems.

You are so right Deeps!!
Same here!! I guess I better come out with it and say that I haven't watched any any Hindi TV serial regularly for several months. When RBO came out, I had a glimmer of hope but after the Rock on track and such they were dashed!!
I don't mind comedy or romance as long as the CVs treat the audience as intelligent and smart!
Lately I've been finding animated movies such as Disneys UP, Alice, and even a very cute movie called Ponyo...much more well made and extremely intelligent..they are good enough for adults to watch and applaud!!
