Considering that I loved yesterday's epi, posting its in-depth analysis was but naturally a fore-gone conclusion!!!😉😆

Sorry friends, if my 'hyperactivity' is getting to you guys😆, par kya karen....really enjoyed last night's epi.....😃

Shuruwaat se shuru karte hain!😆 Shaan, totally in character...despite boiling with anger at the Sarpanch thwarting his intentions and Mangal's evil ways....sticks to his guns about the cause that he so firmly has come to believe in!! A nice touch added to Shaan's stress on the difference between 'good' and 'bad'.....much like the man himself.....he and his world oscillates between the two extremes.....time, maybe for the young man to see 'grey' as well.....the infidelity accusation issue, maybe??!!!!

The ShaNak scene.....would have appreciated it that much more if the scene would have occured post the mistrust issue having been properly addressed.....nonetheless....ShaNak and their brilliant chemistry!!! Keeps us raptured even when our head wants something else!!! That, IMO, is the mark of a good actor(s).....when despite the glaring lacunae....you can still be transported into a different world with the smile intact on your face!!!

A special mention mention here for KT-Yashu being in the same 'space' vis-a-vis their craft....each with a distinct approach, but in the flow of events blend so seamlessly that they end up in the same 'zone'!!! Case in point....the jaadu ka shakkar scene....Shaan in typical 'Shaan' demeanor says 'Main baccha nahin hoon...main bada hoon!"😆 and 'Baaki log kyon nahin khaate?' to which comes Khanak's quick-witted reply..."Kyonki unko pata nahin!!".....to which Shaan goes "Achha!!" Friends, notice that brilliant split-second expression on KT's face...of sheer bewilderment....and Yashu's matter-of-fact head nod after that....its undoubtedly in the same 'zone'!!! 😍😳 This is what CLASSIC 'action-reaction' emoting is all about, IMO!!! Job truly well done, Guys!!⭐️ Keep up the good work!!!👏👏👏

Now, coming to the 'Yeh tara' sequence.....was pleasantly surprised to see the song....For such a touch yardstick to match up to....with the production values, but naturally being a pale shadow of the original.....the choreography being a complete rip-off of the 'source data'😆....and the lead actor who needs to do away with the SRK influence on his otherwise mind-blowing understanding of the craft......Boy, was I completely taken aback or what???!!!

Was truly happy to see KT make the number entirely his 'own', emoting it 'his' way, without any influences whatsoever (except for his moment with the Sarpanch when the 'original' influence showed up!).....else, it was a KT show all the way...every emotion delivered in a heart-felt manner with great panache, with Shaan's trademark earnestness and goodness shining through!!! 👏 Would like to add here that KT was ably supported by Hiten in the 'performance' department....as regards the dancing.....KT delivered what was expected of him, but Hiten....miles to go.....

A special mention here to KT and Yashu's wardrobe in this sequence....KT looking dapper like there's no tomorrow....as my dear friend Aditi would say....the most s*** leading man on TV currently😳....and if I may add, this kind of attire adds that special touch of dignity to his understated s*********!!! Yashu looked ethereal in white.....

The power-house moment of the episode dated 24th February 2011.....without a trace of doubt...the Khanak-Mangal face-off!!! Mangal, yet again....a brilliant actor!!!👏 Can so easily go OTT in the portrayal of his scheming ways....but shows just the right amount of restraint!!! Loved the moment when Khanak continues to look him in the eye when he tries to unsuccessfully play the Suraj card.....that moment spoke volumes about the niche that Shantanu has managed to carve for himself in Khanak's life!!!

Yashu at her hard-hitting best!!! Will undoubtedly qualify as one of her best⭐️⭐️⭐️ .....she had it perfectly pitched!!!.....the anger....the fear.....the sheer disgust..... at Mangal's lowly thought process was bang-on!! Everything....right from the flaring of the nostrils....to the tremble in her body.....to those glaring eyes...to the spirited dialogue delivery in the end, with perfect diction in place!!! Truly a 'Rajputani' at her feisty best!!!!👏

In conclusion, truly a 'shining' episode.....the taare definitely shone bright.....time now for the crux of the Dhulwadi track to be addressed.....

Here's hoping for a jagmag Dhulwadi in ways more than one.....

@aditee: Sigh, Golden RBO will always be in my heart I guess.. as of now mere liye woh sapna hi rahega!! I miss those whacky one liners, where usually it is delivered by Khanak and stumps Shantanu!!! Uff.. and not to forget those husky romantic suggesstions made by Shantanu which has Khanak all pink and shy!! Yes it was beautifully played with words alone.. no touch, look or anything had that effect. Not that they are not doing a bad job now, but situations then were different. they were friends falling in love and now they are truly married sharing a relationship which a married couple does. But then who says marriage brings a change in the basic nature of their relationship.. yes they are friends still so why not that same bantering.... whacky one-liners which would stump the other!! Yes the writers need to understand ShaNak truly well. Like since birth a mother knows her baby. One does not have to spell anything out to her or eplain her child to her.. Just like that even if writers change, they should know and recognise what their babies are!!

BTW I agree to all that you have said, at the cost of sounding like a stuck record or parrot!! The last two episodes, even if okay that is not bad, felt were rushed. Now I don't know to accomodate what and who, but saying and doing everything, I feel that they are still not dealing with the MMS issue properly. Copnnection of which I was waiting and am still waiting is missing. Without proper connectivity, I am afraid, RBO might go down several notches!! Though of course out of sheer curiosity and ShaNak viewers like us will still stick to it eternally hoping for that resurrection of Golden RBO!!

I loved the Khanak-Mangal scene, yet felt that it was not enough. Something was missing there too. Yes Khanak is righfully indignant. And Mangal the true villain that he was, but still the spacing of the dialogues were stilted to me, the timing of the scene.. I don't what to pinpoint it to, but subtllety I guess was missing!!

Me thinks too that the Goradia's did a marvelous job and as I mentioned earlier here in the post to aditee the writers like a mother need to very importantly know their baby!! Afraid that till they don't this lack of subtlety is always going to leave a bad taste!!!🤢

@tanthya: Exactly mu point and feeling. No depth, connectivity highly missing. Even if MMS issue is still loeft hanging, no signs of reviving that.. what with a glimpse of ShaNak scene in the Comin up previews!! Scene was tepmting, but well i could put that scene in a different way!! But well I am not writing the story and if wishes were horses!!!😆 But a good post Tanthya!!👏

@dr.dsr: Yepp true, subtlety and connectivity. Why do you even need dialogues with them. If Shantanu is showing this change and becoming more mature, one look is more than enough to convey what they feel. In CC 5, we had raised this issue of looks being enough in between a husband and wife. Yes it is unnecessary for any words.. And then even if Khanak is very happy with the change in Shantanu, does that mean she has forgiven him for what he did. Without even so much as a hurt look, or forgiving smile? Why!? Ek scene to banta hain na? Which is totally dedicated to the roothna and manaana due to the MMS issue. In the present.. like something like this when Khanak went into the RV to appease Shantanu

K: Shantanu don't worry.. I like what you are doing and totally support you... I also saw what you did. I am beginning to feel that there is a change in you.. but mind you I have still not forgotten how badly you hurt me!!😡 With which he would turn and try to appease her and give her some reassurance.. but she would bluntly say that I don't want to discuss that... and leave from there...

And then the continuation of this scene should come today when they are shown in the preview to come close where she should show the pain and hurt in her eyes and he should go down on his knees asking for forgiveness..

S: Khanak main jaanta hoon, jo maine kiya woh maafi ke kaabil nahin hain, par kya meri yeh bhool tum maaf nahin kar sakti. Bhagwaan bhi ek bhool maaf karte hain, aur mera vaada hain, agar dobaara maine tumhe shikaayat ka mauka diya to mera mara muh.."

With of course that dialogue being cut off by Khanak palm over his mouth!! That is if not enough at least satisfying to know that the MMS issue is still alive!! Grrrr.. all wishful thinking where daily I place my palm over my heart and frequently mutter.. "Aal iz well" 😆

All in all I have maintained that the wait is going to be long and i will wait even if it takes forever!! As i am a die hard ShaNak fan. Loved the Shakkar dialogue. yes even if subtlety is missing these little sparks keep the show alive. So lets hope....😉😆
