Yes Aditi, the dilution of Shan's character has been unpleasant,and perplexing to watch!

Irresponsible as he has been shown to be, he never thought of running away from the situation in Dhulwadi (except when it was suggested to him)

Also, he brought her back home with him and faced the family's wrath!

He got down to it, and did all the work at the dhaba to pay for their Mumbai trip,as she wanted him to do this!

When Khanak refused to show her true feelings to him, after his re-engagement to Natasha, his grief and anger, the scene where he confronts her is one of the best I have ever seen on RBO! How come he feels nothing about anything now?

Why? Why? Why?

Pls CV's do something abt this! And soon! We want Shan to be sweet and romantic, but it has to be timed right!he must have a depth of understanding and feeling, for what has happened to Khanak and his relationship! A realisation of how much he needs her, and has wronged her!

I hope we see a better depiction of his role soon!

Answer to your question- Shantanu is missing because the concentration is on Rahul and Anand.

With due respect to the actors Manish Raisinghani and Hiten Tejwani, and their talents and their fans, the jaan of this show is Shantanu (and Khanak ofcourse).

Shantanu Khandelwal = Karan Tacker. That's it.

We see less of Shaan, we see even less of KT's conviction in what Shaan is doing right now...

This is a plea to save Shaan and KT's dedication to that character. I do not know KT in person at all and have never exchanged a single message with him. This is my first KT show.

But as a regular viewer, I can tell he has brought all his heart and soul to this character. That should not go waste.

CVs, please kindly bring back Shaan and give more screen time for him and Khanak (KT and YM).

I had not been watching RBO and have been doing catchup from past week...KT was alright till the Rahul- Shan Confrontation....After that I sense an indifference , a boredom ..What Happened ???

Neither am I a Huge fan of Anand......It is not without reason that Shan has earned the sobriquet of Bhurthal...He earned it bec of his acts ..


He might be intelligent......But he can also be oblivious to bald facts staring right in the face...Just a reminder....Shan would have done something to incur the wrath of Tashu, Khanak will advise him to apologize to Tashu ..Shan will go and enquire whether Tashu is angry, Tashu very sarcastically will say "NO" ..Shan will accept this at its face value without realizing its actual import ...For a intelligent man, his was a foolish reaction ..but that is Shan...


Here again , we got an inkling of Shan's attitude towards MMS when it first broke, He did not care, he was not bothered...he assured Khanak that such things are happening nowadays and not to spoil her pretty head over this....It blew up when Shan realized it was Sunny ...had it been someone else..he still would not given it the importance it deserved...so from his POV..he is not bothered about MMS...he thinks he humiliated his wife in front of outsider's, when in actuality..the matter should have been resolved within the walls of their bedroom....It requires Someone else to put it in the proper perspective for him....You See !! MMS did not affect him initially and it did not affect Khanak too when it came out the first time...it became an issue when Shan realized that it was Sunny , it became an issue when Khanak realized that Shan did not trust her .....

Even Now, in this track...The Issue is not MMS..they have already given Shan's viewpoint regarding MMS ...The issue is that of Trust ...At least That is what I thought after watching the episodes....I am still catching up...so pardon my presumption's ...

i think as KT is on vacation and as per our reqest (i hope so)..the dhulwadi track is going 2 last 4 a long tym....that's why i guess shaan's screen space is less now...and i m sure when yashu will be gone 4 vacation we will watch a lots of Shaan......and no 1 can take the place of KT in this show...he is our lead...Yasharan is our jaan....and i thik CVs & star1 knows it very well......

and i m being happy...when yashu & KT willl be back frm vacation...we could watch lots of shanak.....😃

Super love this post aditee.. it was very much needed.... as far shaan's character.. it doesn't make sense anymore.. the CVs have butchered him😭 ever since he hugged rahul.. one couldn't relate too his character anymore... I expected soo much from him.. atleast an argument or a slap. Secondly less space given too shanak... its their show please give them more screen space.
