Khanak loves the musical turn in Odhani

Khanak aka Yashasri Masurkar is super excited about the new track in Rang Badalti Odhani on STAR One

We spoke to her about her three new co-stars in the show Dakshish (Jaskaran Singh), Rahul (Manish Raisinghani) and Sam ( Priyanka Bassi ) and she could not stop raving about each one of them as she revealed to us about how much fun she is having shooting with them.

Even though the new characters have entered the show it is Shantanu and Khanak who continue to be the most popular characters on the show. Speaking about co-star Karan, Yashashri says "On set Karan keeps rehearsing his songs and keeps playing the guitar the whole day since he has recently learnt it. At one minute he is singing Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and the next minute he switches to Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jaana Sanam". Asked about whether there are any romantic moments between the popular couple coming up Yashashri quips, "Ab toh suhhag raat bhi ho gayi ab aur kya hoga (laughs). On a serious note she says "There will be a problem in the family because Mr Khandelwal does not approve of Shantanu pursuing a career in music. Khanak will try to convince the family to accept his choice of career. Then Khanak will also take some time to adjust to Shantanu's friends because she comes from Dhulwadi and has never met such people before".

Khanak about Dakshish aka Jaskaran Singh- Shantanu aka Karan Tacker had recently told us about how well he has gelled with Jaskaran Singh and when we asked Yashashri we got a similar reaction. The actress says "Jaskaran is too funny. He keeps singing these weird songs along with Karan and they completely crack me up. He is too cute and I really like him. However when it comes to work he is serious and completely professional which is a great thing!!"

Sam aka Priyanka Bassi – "Priyanka is just too sweet. She is very soft spoken and the seedhi-saadhi types (laughs). The funniest part is that she is very innocent and does not understand most of the jokes we crack. It takes her 2-3 minutes to understand the joke. Recently Manish was pulling my leg by saying that she has passed some comment against me. I told him that I would believe him if it was anyone else but I can never believe that Priyanka would say such a thing".

Rahul aka Manish Raisinghani- "Manish keeps on playing pranks and joking around which makes the shoot fun. The other day we were shooting in a car when he suddenly spotted a pani puri stall on the road. He insisted that we should get down and have pani puri (laughs). His character in the show is very serious but he is the opposite in real life".
