Rang Badalti Odhani on STAR One takes a musical turn this week. Khanak (Yashashri Masurkar) has found out that Shaan ( Karan Tacker) used to be a lead vocalist and a guitarist of a band that was formed by him and his group of friends during their college days. |
Dakshish aka Jaskaran Singh has already made an exciting entry into the show and fans can gear up to see popular stars like Priyanka Bassi (who plays Sam) and Manish Raisinghani (who plays Rahul) this week as Shantanu's band mates. We spoke to Priyanka Bassi, who plays Sam and is the love interest of both Rahul and Dakshish in Rang Badalti Odhani. Priyanka whose performance in her debut show Left Right Left won her a lot of appreciation makes a comeback on the small screen after a long hiatus. Speaking about her role Priyanka says: "Sam is a vibrant, chirpy and bubbly girl. I and Shantanu were buddies in college. I come back into his life and it is very exciting because we are meeting after really long. Sam brings excitement and a spark into everyone's life". When asked about why she had been missing from the small screen Priyanka says: "I opened myself to TV just 2 weeks back and had promised myself that I will accept any role that comes my way. The producers and channel was really keen on having me in the show and it was an interesting character. I have never portrayed a chirpy and bubbly character as Naina of Left Right Left was a serious and strong character". Priyanka admits that she has not watched the show before and is just getting to know the actors and characters. Speaking about her co-actors she says: "Everyone has given me a warm welcome. The actors and crew are great". Priyanka has to leave for her shot but leaves a message for her fans: "I know my fans are excited and going crazy about my comeback. I have been receiving loads of fan mails in response to my comeback with Rang Badalti Odhani. I want to tell my fans to keep loving me and love my character Sam as much as they loved Naina." Do not miss Priyanka's entry tonight in Rang Badalti Odhani every Monday-Saturday at 10 pm on STAR One. |
