Some thoughts on 22/11 epi

Hi all,
As requested by some friends, am posting my view of yesterday's episode here.... pls do share your views as well...

About yesterday's episode-

Why did Shaan want so much love when Akshay didn't? Or why was Shaan so affected by his parents' problems when Akshay managed? Wish they explore this more... we need a good Shaan-Akshay scene. Some people are very needy for affection and can actually sap energy out of you! That can be told interestingly here.

And for someone who wants so much love, Shaan is very quick to forget it! I still cannot understand how he completely forgot Khanak and wanted the company of his friends from 10 yrs ago! Not convincing!

Khanak-Shaan scene was also good. But how does Shaan think he can keep Sunil-Madhvi problems from Khanak, if he keeps giving hints like this?

I am amazed that Khanak just stopped with thinking she has upset Shaan's mood. A man not wanting his parents' anniversary gift in the living room or his name added to it is serious matter. Where's Khanak's inquisitive brain?

There seemed to be no hint at all at Shaan wanting to be something else in his life. He was projected as just some lazy spoilt brat who let his mom and Natasha take over. May be he suffers from one of those several syndromes, where a person puts a complete block on a part of his/her life and acts as if it never happened?

Has RBO become the story of Shaan? For me, RBO is the story of Khanak.

Months were spent on Shaan-Khanak-Natasha track, so I want to see months spent of Shaan-Khanak-Suraj's memory track. But may be that does not fit with Star One audience wish.

it was later shanak n their love story but this is the story of khanak.....truly agree iwd that


all yr questions r just perfect though i dont have answers to that but must say shaan n his behaviour wid khanak is not going gd wid me................i want him to focus more on her n their life 2 getehr bus thats it

agree its the story of khanak n her life n shanak.RBOcvs hope gets dat soon.n concentrates on the actual story.

Am not saying RBO is not about Khanak anymore. Am sure it will be. Like Swapna ji said, we have to trust her and her team. They have not let us down till now. We just have to make sure that as fans, we express our views and desire to see Khanak's journey also discussed.

first of all, i don't agree that shaan never got any love. i mean come on. even if his parents neglected him, he was spoiled rotten by dadi, akshay and even natasha. all these people showered unconditional love on him. so i really don't understand why it is being asserted again and again that he never had any love in his life!

for me, Rbo has never been about only khanak or only shaan. it has always been about shanak together as a team, their spirited journey and their changing feelings towards each other!.the story may still be mostly revolving around them but will it retain it's earthiness and soul, only time will tell!

my hopes for the new track are not very high because i feel RBO is slowly falling into the traps of superficial storytelling. however, it has an amazing cast and CVs, so i am willing to wait and watch how the story proceeds from here onwards.

ohh yes gaayu v completely trust swana maam n her vision n she will never ever let khanak n her beautiful character b wasted or go anywhere

this track is fr the time being but it will surely evolve shanak s relationship

sure gayu will do , iam running to watch HP 7 now , 😆 sis waiting at theater

We have not seen whether Akshay managed without love or even he kept brooding somewhere inside...but if they don't show it, I assume he must have managed because of several reasons.....1.) he is the older sibling of the two, who are usually more mature and balanced...or 2.) he must have been old in age too, may be he understood the differences in a clear context...or 3.) he must have acted normal to put a brave front thinking it shud not affect Shaan....not knowing he was already affected.

even I found it odd....but then I think maybe the parents fighting and the pain took him back several years in a reverse mode and he felt the same pain he used to when he was young and at that time Khanak was not in picture.....he is trying to fight back the old trauma and in the same trance he thinks of a place to run away.....to someone who would listen.....and remembers friends who he must have confided in at that moment.....these were his initial thoughts and maybe thinking that Khanak won't be able to handle is a way to escape because in fact he is not able to handle it.........actually he was looking for an external source, neutral to family, we all know how Khanak is pro ada and bai thing..............but even if he would not have got the note.............after sometime he would have thought only of Khanak.....

He won't be able to hide anything.....he is just trying to avoid any discussion in this matter, especially with Khanak.........

We need to study more on why Shaan behaves as he does in various situations ..... he is a complex character; maybe till now, he had stopped thinking about himself and was happy being nudged in a particular direction wherever his Mom and Natasha wanted him to go, just to garner their attention and affection......
( we do that often, we don't know what we actually want when we know that our loved ones want something else from us)
now when Khanak is making him realise himself as an individual, he has an increased sense of self-confidence....( he had a psuedo-confidence previously - I am Shantanu Khandelwal, types)......it is different now....so may be he now has the confidence to feel what he actually wants.....

I don't think it has become a story of shaan alone.....it is very much a story of khanak, and because of her....Shanak.; but as shaan has suffered a lot in his early years it is Khanak who will play a pivotal role in bringing peace back to him, on all fronts - parents, friends, career........

true to that.....starone shows move according to the whims and fancies of the channel....and as 2 college shows have ended - dmg amd mjht.......they are trying to cash in their audience
