Hi friends,
This statement by Shaan about Khanak was really touching... shows how far Khanak has come, not just literally, from Dhulwadi to Mumbai... but also in her journey, with Shaan.... so many of you are so gifted with words and ideas... so do write what you think about this 'woman of substance'!

yes gaayu I just lued the way how proudly shaan said that.
she has always been a woman of substance
.She fought for justice fearlessly at dhulwadi inspite of so many pressures., put the family in front when the need arised., and even thought that a life should not go in vain just because the villagers were angry and hence agreed to marry shaan. She has been a wise woman throughtut
Even after marrying she has had immsense patience in dealing with MR.Agarwal, adjusting to new situation without any help, tackling the angry shaan at the same time pointing out his irresponsibility and making him work.,always wishing hubby's happiness inspite of the fact that he was not ineterested in her then etc., etc., et., and finally securing hubby's love sheerly on the basis of her merits. She has been a friend ,philosopher and guide to shaan always expecting nothing but his happiness in return.
Yes truly khanak is a woman of substance., and this only shows that one need not be highly educated yet can be smart. And she also has all the feminine qualities plus the manly qualties of courage, fearlessness, etc etc.,and when the need is there she does not shy away i like this quality in her a lot.

Hey,
Very nice topic!
Woman of substance was used very aptly in this case. Not only has Khanak been portrayed as an individual who can fight for what she believes in off-late, she has consistently been so from the very beginning. She derives her strength from Shantanu but at the same time equally supports and motivates him to do better and feel confident.
Where women in real life are concerned, we have a very long way to go in India. I am a radical feminist and believe that women should make careers for themselves as opposed to doing jobs. There is so much untapped potential at homes all around our country. At the same time mothers and wives need to take a bow as well because they juggle so many characters at ease everyday. All in all being a woman itself is a boon. How we use our potential is dependant only on us. Each woman is a woman of substance 😊
Bahut gyaan de diya...will now post something funnier next.

Gaayu.. great topic.. I loved it when Shaan said 'woman of substance' So true naa.. she has roughed thur the hard times .. she is so young to go thru the hardships she has but still comes out a winner everytime with a positive attitude.. and she reflects that on others too.. she has influenced Shaan in a positive manner that has done him and his profession good.
She truly is a woman of substance!!😳 Well said Shaan!!!👏

I luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuv women of substance!! Very nice topic and posts. Agree with everyone. Khanak definitely deserves the title........I can't even begin to imagine what pain, what upheaval a young girl goes through when she loses her husband on her wedding day...........then getting married again into an hostile household with adversaries like SD-BD duo, and coming out on tops with her gentility and dignity intact is no mean feat.
Big round of applause for Khanak👏👏👏👏👏
