Lol..forgot to add..clearly Khanak's talk at the beginning of the episode was so distracting poor Shan couldn't even do his tie properly...looks like someone needs to do it again.

morning everyone... will be totally inactive (health has gone down...and work too is super hectic , might have to travel, once health gets better..)... hope you guys have a good discussion...caught up for a few pages...

Before I leave..

Gaayu... I saw we differed on the interpretation of the scene... actually... I see your points , very pertinent... and I have to agree.. I actually didnt like the Khanak jaap that Shaantanu was doing. KHanka mujhe maar daalegi... and deffo didnt like what he did to Natti, just coz his wifey told him... use your brains boy... you are smitten fine, not looney... or shud I say looney too... why else will you dream that you are ranbir from saawariya! LOL

That green shirt was fine yaar... he carried it off well... may be we ought to leave it at that! LOL>.. but I love the way it distracts you... actually blame me ... I just play a lot with colors and so ... I watch a lot of the color usage in the room etc... I interpret too much yaar... I saw green signify a new turn... that budding newness of life... of love.. of realization... oh well go on kill me...

And yeah this Khanak better stop Natti overdose jaap... yday I was really fine, only dont use the word twice in a sentence , literally,,, dont say the name sentence ke aage once and peeche once... once is fine...the dialogues were what I found superbly irritating except during that SHaan taking mickey out of Khanak...

My fav in that scene 'nahin khanak tum ladkiyon ke baare mein keh rahi thi...' but episode fav - is room har cheez mere pasand ki nain ok?' - way too significant for me!

@sareeta all i can say is get well soon.,and remember u in my prayers.

Please find some way to be connected with the forum even if u have to travel or become fully occupied in ur work.We all love ur special analysis like anything.Hope i am not pressurising u but definitely requesting u.

The RBo forum is always in need of people like u.please remember us.And take care of ur health.

Hi Sareeta - hope you feel better soon.

Everyone has made really good points and observations, but i'm still a bit confused - I may be looking into the first scene too much, but..

I wasn't sure whether he was laughing at her after the Shanak moment because

he knew he'd affected her

he made her uncomfortable

he'd shut her up - which is hard to do

he'd demonstrated his skills at manaoing girls ' Shantanu Khandelwal'

he'd realised it was TOO filmy, after going through it

he just wanted to practice and annoy her

I liked that they had Suraj looking on..it was like quite symbolic..he was still a part of her life..in the background and would remain there but would not prevent her from moving on with her life and life in the present.

I also got the feeling that Khanak was suprised, annoyed and slightly upset that Shantanu had actually managed to affect her.

Just my thoughts...

Shriya - THanks a ton for that... Ok I was penning something before I left for worlk... It was something that stood out for me.. yday but with all the ill heath and fuzzy head I forgot to write it down... Its about the scene with Shaantanu and Khanak ... where he asks..her... tumladkiyon ke baare mein... I will post it in a bit... but that might be the last detailed one... before I get active again... might need a couple of days... I will come and visit the forum... but may not be able to pen as much... dunno... one thing after another... its just taking a toll on me... should be better soon... :-)

Dodo... will post my reply in a bit... my take on the scene... so should be able to respond to your comments too then...

I complete agree with @May, @Sareeta & others, in the whole episode the shanak romance in the beginning was mind-blowing. Hats off to the script-writers/directors for taking into account small details into account in shanak romance
Like
- shaan stopping whatever he was doing when khanak said 'mein jaanthi hoon aapko a thoda tho pasand hoon'
- when shaan hold khanaks hand when she refuses to say special, he is not just holding but feeling her with his thumb
- The difference in the way when khanak is holding his hand as it was more for the nataasha jaap.
- and ofcourse the expressions from both kt and ym were breath-taking.

Initially I was confused why Shaan smiled so wickedly after saying ILU Natasha and noticing that Khanak was hurt. Infact in earlier episodes he was always worried if khanak was fine or not. Including the khaas hai song episode - more than worrying abt what he did was right or wrong or hw natasha would feel if she comes to know abt it - he was worried how khanak was taking it - when khanak asked him why he was behind her when he remembers everything from the night - he said he just wants to know 'tum teek ho nah'

And here though I expected him to tease her with ILU Natasha to open her up - I didnt expect him to leave that poor girl abruptly - with a wicked smile on his face.

But now understood why our naughty brat did this to her. He just knowingly repeated - what khanak did to him unknowingly - twice in the morning.
When he woke up in the morning - after all the lovey-dovey talk frm khanak - she absolutely pissed him off with the Natasha word.
She repeated the same again after holding his hand - poor him - he had a heavy dose of KKHH - and khanak my god used the Natasha word again - this time he showed his irritation.

So now our naughty shaan wanted to take a sweet revenge. He wanted khanak to feel - how he felt when she uttered 'you know who' word. Just as he realized on his own reg his feelings for khanak (remember his dad told him that he has to think himself when he was down). So he left khanak abruptly after the SHAANdaar effect on her - so that she would take time and think by herself what she wants from shaan.

Remember he told her something on these line ... kuch kehne ki jaroorath nahi - sirf ehsaas hi kaafi hain - mein jaantha hoon tum kaise feel kar rahi ho

So he wanted khanak also to understand his feelings without him telling her (I guess).
