Coming back to the episode..Just watched it. So here are my brief thoughts about it. It was a very cute episode. The plus points were that we got to see so much of Shaan & Khanak in it. But more than anything, I loved the internal struggle of Shaan here. He knows he's feeling something different for this girl.. He knows that something about her mesmerizes him in a way that Natasha never did. He knows that he's beginning to finish his very own relationship with his ex-fiance.. But the internal struggle for not paying heed to the clues his heart is giving him is definitely entertaining to watch. Karan's doing such a splendid job at displaying this wide range of emotions of a man stuck in between a rock and a hard place. But every now and then, its refreshing and relieving to watch these two in lighter scenes such as that of today's episode. Intensity and drama shall come at its own time too and we've already witnessed how great Shaan is at portraying the serious avatar of Shaan as well. However, the true testament would come when Khanak finds herself in an internal struggle such as Shaan's as well. I'm glad that this time, the guy fell for the girl first. It is much more fun to watch it this way than the other way around.
I think Khanak was adorable and cute today. My sister watched it with me for a little bit and her first impression of her was that she comes across as a very cute and innocent actress, which is rare to be found these days. But once again, I found myself just staring at Shaan. His presence alone is enough for me to discard all other bloopers, be it editing or scripting or others. However, I did find one thing quite odd. There was no transition in between the first scene and the boxing scene. Shaan was not miffed at himself and neither was he confused or frustrated at his thoughts when his scene with Khanak ended at night in their bedroom. Instead, both were laughing together. So the transition from that scene to his boxing scene was not smooth at all and rather felt like an insertion or a filler scene put in just for the heck of it. But once it started, I was okay with it. The morning bit was a bit too much. So Khanak was trying to portray what Shaan should say to Natasha. But then while Shaan's eyes were still closed, Khanak was "sharmaofying and blushing" like Shaan was watching her (when at that point, he had not opened his eyes at all). So that was a bit OTT for me personally. But it was a cutesy scene overall.
Really looking forward to the towel dance now. I am quite intrigued to see how these little events are going to lead to a big confession scene such as towel dance in future.
Btw, I thought that these soaps don't have bank episodes. From what I recollect, the towel dance scene sequence was shown on last Friday. Usually, they are only 2-3 episodes ahead. So for them to shoot the scene in advance shows that the channel definitely wanted to capitalize on this towel dance scene and hence, shot the promo and scene in advance. Gotta give it to them.. Good strategy *hehehe*
Note: Read almost all posts and had loads of fun reading them. Still can't get over Sid's word of the day there..😆 That was just too much. Two things kept coming to my mind while watching the episode.. Sid's word of the day about Shaan's eyes *ahem* and umm.. "Us nai ungli di, isnai tu haath pakar liya" ..I kept laughing as I watched the episode.. Such are the joys of reading people's thoughts on the show first and then watching it 🤣 ~
