Sareeta - I agree Natasha does need to let go and move on but she is clinging onto the hope Shaan has given her even though she can see the signs she is ignoring all logical - Shaan kept on saying to her 6 months, its only for 6 months, even on Tues Khanak said to her I will be gone in 4 months so she is holding on. Tell her there is nothing left for her and she will move on.

Aah, I see you where you are coming from Nikita - the hope of the 6 months eh? I suppose... the high point is coming close when Shaan will close that loop as well...

Primarily what I see is that Natasha is just not paying heed to what SHaan is requesting of her or what his intentions are... she just isnt able to hold on... and that is going to irk Shaan mighty bad! When he is able to hold on and wait for 6 months and amidst that do the stuff that is right for him, his business etc, the least he can expect is support from Natasha which instead he gets from Khanak... and that is the irony... so the girl Natasha is just kicking her luck too hard and too bad...

But the hope of 4 months , making her hold on... is a pertinent point... very pertinent!

The way I see it, when we are in pain, we are try to count our blessings and look at people who are worse off then ourselves....But sometimes an indeviduals pain cannot be measured in general terms, everyones' pain is unique to their circumstances.....Even if you try not to wollow in self pity, the pain is still there.....
I think Shaan, Kanak and Natasha have suffered equally.....
P.S. I think they are all in limbo, because all three are fixated on the six month deadline😕.....

Yep it will come when Shaan closes the loop - but I don't feel she will stick to him, I don't know I think or believe she has a nice heart - I think if Shaan serves the blow she will walk away I mean she already feels like she is losing him - It will hit her hard but she is coming to terms with it, though it is coming off as bitter. I do feel she will be the cataylsis in revealing Shaan's feelings to Khanak as well. 😳

Editted: May well said - agree with everything you have said!

Nikita - Agree on her being the catalyst for shaan to realize his feelings... she might inadvertently question and SHaan might just realize his answers... you know see them crystal ...

Nice point there...

May - Nice points ... agree...

Nikita...yes ...Natasha will be the catalyst that will indefinitely push Sahn towards Khanak...it will be her insecurity, her interoggations, her not respecting his wishes , etc that will do it...as we have already started to see...how annoyed and fustrated he was with explaining the same thing over and over again to Natasha....Natasha yes has been left in limbo...but then again...its her choice to use the time given by Shan...to give herself space to think to give her fathers choice a chance and Shan the space and time to right the worng he beleives hes doing...supporting him as a friend as lovers are friends too...and better ones at that .....or just stay putt..in one place...

@sareeta very fine analysis of pain.
@kubare so tru.It is natasha who has chosen the pain herself.
@nikita_88sorrry on that.I do not think natasha's was the worst of all but the least of all pains there.I mean khanak lost her husband and shaan had the pain of a gulit but still they sort of look forward without leaning much on the past.,And that is the whole beauty of human life. One cannot too much ponder over the past but should be ready to face the current and future without much fuss. And natasha thoroughly lacks the spirit.
@may maddy and everyone else well put comments . capturing the spirit of human life in a nutshell.Human life is always to look forward.,and shaan/khanak have done it so well.,where as natasha is a big question mark in that.

Hi everyone😊,
Have recently started following Odhani and read with great interest all your posts in this thread...very valid POVs...it is a nice, understated show, with little flamboyance but much substance👏
Khanak underwent incredible pain of losing her love to an avoidable accident.......Unbearable
Shantanu must live the rest of his life with guilt of having caused that avoidable accident.....unimaginable
Natasha was caught in between for no fault of hers.....heartbreaking
As many of you have said, all three have experienced pain in different forms, in the case of Natasha though, I feel the audience's sympathy may not be as much because she is from a priviliged background, rich, educated, independent.....many may feel that she can fend for herself...sooner or later she may find another man....she doesn't really need Shantanu....as much as the innocent, gaonwali Khanak does.....valid point....but what if Shantanu is really the love of her life ...her one true love...does being rich and educated and independent automatically mean she cannot love truly and now that Khanak and Shantanu are together, she must move on ?
I think the show raises this question in a very beautiful way, not for a moment taking away from the blossoming Shanak love strory....but I think Natasha's reaction is ekdum jaayez.
And on the subject of pain, who can say it better than Ghalib himself,
"Ragon mein daudte phirne ke hum nahin qaayal,
Jo aankh se hi nahin tapka, wo lahoo kya hai?"
Hi May😃😃😃, I took your recommendation to heart and started watching this show...good one!

very well said sareeta.....👏 infact I believe pain is the only feelings which brings the actual feeling out from our heart...we all bond in pain. when we r in pain our feet comes down on the ground and we start thinking realistically...in happier times we r always on cloud nine.
shantanu never ever thought that he can love or even can spend quality time with khanak. but the guilt feeling and khanak's helplessness in a way forced him to think and care about her. he wasa also in lots of pain initially when he thought that he may loose natasha...
Khanak who had no fault but she lost her most loved one right after her marriage...then she came to khandelwal house where from the very first day she went through lots of humiliation and pain....she saw her husband romancing other woman....everybody used to insult her everyday....but she is really very brave and has that much maturity that she has never shown her tears or pain to nebody....kudos to her for this.....and u know khanak's this nature is the main reason that now shaan cares for her so much!
and finally Natasha....I agree that she is the person who is in the most horrible situation....for nothing she is going through this pain and poor she .... more pain is waiting for her!!

Am in a rush so won't be able to do justice to this beautiful post by Sareeta and to all the views expressed here... we are raising more questions than giving answers, which means the show is doing well and connecting to the audience- making us introspect our own opinions about love, pain etc...

@ vista
Beautifully put... valid point. As much as I complain abt Natasha, she is a very interesting character. And Rucha is doing a fab job... I thought her acting yesterday was spot on... her voice as well.. anyway, yes, just bcos Natasha is rich and older and independent, does not lessen her pain.

Life is not fair, eh?

Chalo, will join later tonight:)
