The words I love you natasha come out so easy , like it was an aadat and when he says the next bit... he pauses.. as though he is contemplating it again and again...he doesnt seem to stop and blurts it out... he is not guilty but he is worried what he might hear his dad say not as a parent , but as a voice that would echo his own fears that he might lose Khanak with that blatant utterance of her name...

I love how Shaantanu fears sees his dad as more of his own conscience... and not just as a father... like he wants someone to tell him desperately... some deep voice that reflects his own sense of right and wrong that what he did wasnt a blunder and it could be set right.. and what better voice to echo your conscience than that of your parent... who is a part of what you are!

@ Sareeta: Gosh..Don't apologize. You never barge in but instead point out valid aspects that one often tends to neglect. The father-son conversation is definitely going to be introspective in nature. I loved how you compared Shaan's dad with his own conscience. That's quite true and this is exactly why the stress here is upon his dad. One always needs that motivation, that push, that support that can help broaden one's views about life in general. And like you said, what better authority to advise Shaan in this aspect but that of his dad.

One thing that I wanted to mention before I doze off here is that I'd love the flashback scenes to go something like so...

Shaan seeing Khanak as a bride entering his house and on a parallel screen watching flashbacks of his life with Natasha. On one end, he observes Khanak crying and putting up with all the nonsense that she had to while on the other hand, u see his carefree and full of laughter life with Khanak. On one side, he sees distress and a no-hope situation in his life with Khanak (i.e. the flashback of initial days when he didn't approve of her) versus his joyous and lovely days with Natasha..Fading back into mirror images where the distress with Khanak slowly transforms into a beautiful and innocent friendship to his carefree and loving days with Natasha fading into bickering ones at present. And then I want Khanak's laughter, her innocence, her simplicity to take over and her scenes to overshadow Natasha's scenes. I wish they'd direct the realization of love like so in Shaan's case.. Or maybe I am asking for too much *hehehe*

Ok..I promise this is the last post I reply to 😆😆 ~ I agree Veena.. Natasha (Rucha Gujrati) was amazing in this past episode and frankly, I didn't notice anyone else much in the episode but Shaan & Natasha. I can totally sympathize with what she's going through...But more than that, I think the actress Rucha did a FABULOUS job there as Natasha 👏👏 ~

well said but i don't fully agree with you😳 rucha is a very good actor and potrays natasha very well but i didn't think that her expressions were any different than they usually are. maybe it's because she mostly has crying scenes nowadays. she had been given a lot of margin and a strong situation to work with in today's episode, so naturally we noticed her more than the other actors. she made good use of this opportunity. good for her.

@ Shaantak: Thank u for liking my post and u don't have to agree with it at all. After all, we all belong to a diverse group of people having diverse set of opinions and thoughts *hehehe*

I didn't say that her expressions were any different than before but they were definitely more intense than usual which was in sync wit the demand of the scene. For me, she works well and I do think of her highly in terms of acting 😉 ~

Ok Shriya - You can go ahead and kill me... but erm... i agree with you on the bit about Khanak withdrawing herself...but Shaatanu being drawn to her because of being used to her is something am not too sure of... he will be worried.... very worried the he might have driven her into the shell... coz it will also hit him for the first time, as to what he has achieved... Shaantanu did pull Khanak out of her shell deliberately or knowing - he just stood by her, coz it was right and he supported what was right... and his support drew her out of the shell... he wasnt and isnt aware of what his presence is doing to her... he has just been happy seeing her happy... little knowing that he was the reason for it...and now with her withdrawing, he will realize what has happened... she was like this when she came to Mumbai, and then she changed ... and then now she is back to being melancholy... blaming herself like she did in Dhulwadi for her ada and bai... and he will realize his importance in her life (usually someone has to spell that for us...typical in all love stories ... but not in real) and this time it will be the guy realizing his own importance in the girl's life and he will realize more than ever that he and he alone can set things right for Khanak and that he is to be with her... coz he is right for her...and I see this as being a very strong realization, something more than love ... a sense of self worth... in the eyes of the young woman you respect and care for deeply...and possibly why the song and the entire sequence of being blown away (JTN)!
