Karan Tacker(shantanu of Rang badalti odhani) has been slogging for his show. He has apparently been shooting for 75 days at a stretch without a break. And to add to his woes, he recently cut his leg while shooting.
A source says, "The sequence was that Khanak is keen on learning English, and so one night she goes near the swimming pool with her book. Shantanu follows her there she gets scared thinking someone is following her and in order to escape from there, falls into a pool.
"When Shantanu realises she is drowning he jumps into the pool. As soon as he jumped there was an uneven floor which he did not notice and ended up cutting his toe. It started bleeding but we had first aid available on the set. He chose to continue shooting till 5 am."
The unit is shooting for the similar sequence today as well and Karan is back on the set with his injury. He confirmed the accident but chose not to comment on it.
Yashashree Masurkar, who plays Khanak says, "It was a tough scene to do. I am scared of water and Karan was hurt. He was bleeding but later the scene went off well."
