Ok so here goes another one for the infamous night that was the start of the adventure!

Mumbai hai
Aadhi raat hai
Khadelwals
Worried hai
Bacche ho gaye gum

Tension kya kam thi
Jo tapke Hetal aur Mangal

Khanak hogayi happy
Par Shaantanu hua sulky

Raat thi badi wo lambi
Too many first times
To forget to soon....
Khanak hui talli
Shantanu ne pehni Dhoti
Gundon ko dikhakar
Green patti
Dono ne maari
Patli gali se kalti

Kabhi biwi ki manaya
to bartan bhi dhoya
Shaantanu tho
Bistar ko tyaag

Khusboo hui mental
screaming "what the hell"
No one paid an ear to gal
forget about her sister....

It was khanak, who was
On the run, with the deal
that might as well kiss the well

But pareshani is with pareshani
All can be only too well...
With new names coined,
Hubby and Wifey are
now Burthal and Pagal!!

Dono laut ke aaye ghar
Sharing a little secret
"It was a freaky night to remember!!"

^^ Thank you Krishna - This is one is real close to my heart ....i always wanted to express something on these lines ... have done that thru english lines, but in Hindi, somehow this time it clicked... it just came the moment I thought of Shantanu watching Khanak yday... and that one scene where he hands over a note to her, as his first gift...

You should send this link to the CVs and the actors. Anyone knows anyone in tellytadka? May be they can interview KT and YM and they can read these poems and have a blast:)

@tvrasika - that thought of the actors reading is a bit unnerving... I'd feel like a pompous prat... i just am glad you guys liked it...
All the poems i write find their way onto my blog...

But I would definitely love to interact with the creative director , and the actors to let them know i enjoy the show!!

Am sure the actors wud love it yaar... and no, u wont sound like a pompous prat! Please!:) We all love ShaNak and each of us have our way of expressing our appreciation. This is your way and it's splendid:)

I did write a few lines for the actor who plays Shaantanu and oh well, I've done that before, but they sit on my blog! I guess, I didnt know how to get it across to the people... if its people I know, its a lot easier, I drop in an email.

I just feel, when ppl are the inspiration or point of reference for any piece of work or art of creative outlet, they deserve to know it. it's only fair.

I am still nervous about being misunderstood by the team, if the lines do reach them... will they read it like it is some crazy fan nonsense.. coz it is not. It's just my well should I say... the characters and the potrayal by the actors more so, drove me to pen the last set of lines... those lines like i mentioned are very close to me...
