Rano is shocked at all the accusations of theft being flung at her by Shanno. She feels humiliated and helplessly looks around for Ranbir but he is not there. Meanwhile Kamala and a scared Sukhi from a distance anticipates the storm and decide to leave when suddenly Manno comes and tells Kamala that Preet behenji wants to see her. Kamala acts as if everything is normal and they leave together. Vicky in an attempt to prevent the guests from finding out about the family drama announces that dinner is served. Ranbir comes and sees his family in the hall. He enters it and is stunned by what is going on. Poor Rano is in tears…Ranbir intervenes and tells everyone that she is innocent and he is the one who had given her the necklace but no one believes him. An insulted Rano leaves the room, followed by Kamla and Nimmi. Guddo too is about to join them when Preet stops her, saying her daughter would not go to the house of thieves and cheats. Kamla takes out her anger for Sukhi on poor Rano. Ranbir comes to Rano's house but Kamla shuts the door on his face. Ranbir finds out from the jeweler that the necklace was sold by none other than Sukhi. A furious Ranbir fires Sukhi and tells him that if he weren't Guddo's husband, he would have sent him to prison. Preet is doing her pooja when Ranbir comes down from his room. She gives him the Aarti and is shocked when he declares that he cannot live in a house where there is no place and respect for Rano
Preet tries to stop Ranbir but he is unwilling to listen to anyone. BS Maan finally stpes in and convinces Ranbir not to go. Kamla blames Guru and Rano for the whole theft incident. She goes to the Maan family to bring back Guddo but Preet doesn't let her. An upset Kamla comes back home. She is in the middle of a discussion with Guru when she sees Preet at the doorstep who stuns everyone by asking for Rano's hand for Ranbir.
