Rano clearly justifies that they neither have demanded anything not need anything from guddo. Rano is still unaware of ranbir's presence but to preet it looks as if rano is speaking up as if to impress ranbir and she walks out angrily. Ranbir later tries convincing Rano about how Preet is right and that he has faith in Rano as well. Meanwhile bhupinder comes to know of the demand for car from Shanno and is shocked. At the dining table rano gets really uncomfortable eating with everyone, ranbir tries to cheer her up just then guddo chokes on water. Before anyone can react rano runs to pat her back and this change of equation doesn't go well with Preet. Later guddo insists on Rano staying back and Rano is forced to oblige. At night guddo chooses to sleep with Rano instead of Preet and Preet feels insulted again. Next day morning everyone reaches the family temple to find the diya burning already but instead of Preet having lit it, all are shocked to find Rano with diya.
