Ranbir convinces Preet that guddo will be happy in her new home. Sukhi enters his room to find Guddo sleeping. Kamla in her room wears and admires guddos jewellery but is snubbed by Guru for acting so cheap. Kamla holds a mudikhai cum kirtan the next day to flaunt her new bahu to the ladies of the locality. Just then ranbir calls rano who tells him she's busy and informs about the ceremony at home. kamla invites maan family for muhdekhai. Preet refuses to go but Beeji and the bhabhi's gladly go. Guddo demands to wear her antique jewellery gifted by Preet, which Kamla and Sukhi refuse for her to wear. Guddo gets disheartened and starts to cry. Rano ends up feeling sorry for her. Kamla plays a perfect host as guests begin to arrive. When she calls out to rano to bring guddo out, she gets a shock seeing an excited guddo in the same necklace that she had barred her from wearing. Kamla realizes its Rano's doing.
