Preet is about to push the door open of ranbirs room when someone calls her. She moves ahead for her room to get the necklace. Rano runs out of Ranbirs room unseen. Preet gives her mother's necklace to guddo and then kamla also fibs about the necklace she had gifted to guddo as being family heirloom. Vidaai happens and everyone is emotional. Guddo is chirpy though. The mood in Maans house is somber, whereas there is hungama at kamla's place. Guddo is excited about all the rituals of receiving a bride. Preet goes to guddo's room back home and bursts out crying when Ranbir enters and keeps a consoling hand on shoulder.
