~Ranbir Rano Appreciation Thread~ - Page 9

I usually watch Ranbir Rano on India-Forums as it has not yet aired in the states, but I come on the computer and watch it every day as the show is one of my favorites.

I have received news that Vinay Rohra from Ranbir Rano is being replaced. This piece of news has shocked and hurt a lot of people who watch this show daily. I for one can not believe this. It is said that Vinay is being replaced because he had some personal problems he needed to solve and asked for a leave. The producers decided to replace him because of that. I feel that was not fair to the actor or the audience. The show has now been successfuly running since September and the TRPs are going up higher and higher because of the chemistry of the leads Ranbir (Vinay) and Rano (Saakshi). The audience has fully accepted Vinay and Saakshi as thier one and only Ranbir and Rano. By replacing Vinay and/or Saakshi the shows TRPs will drop and the majority of people will stop watching the show. I am an active member of India-Forums.com and we are shocked and hurt. We are starting a petition that will be emailed to you by the maker soon enough.

There are many possible solutions to the problem. Vinay needs to solve his problems, he needs a leave. Instead of fully replacing him for good you can replace him temporaraly until he gets back or you can change the track for a while. For example Ranbir could be kidnapped by his family members (sister and father) so he and Rano could not be together, or he could be kidnapped by his (suppost to be) father in law and his (suppost to be) Wife (Aarthi) and Vinay could shoot some parts before going. Solutions can be found but taking Vinay out of the show fully is not the wrong this to do. I for one am enraged as the couple has made a space in my heart and now are being taken away.

Saakshi is sick. That doesn't mean she has to be or may be replaced. It isn't her fault. This problem can also have a solution. Saakshi will get better. For example in the show "WAQT" on Sony the lead actress got the chicken pox, so they changed the track and brought in another actress, they made the story so the lead got plastic sergery but later the family found out she was a fake and their daughter was still alive and came to protect her father. These problems can be solved. If only you think about it.

I hope you take this email seriously as you may be getting more from other angry viewers and members of India-Forums. We are angry we want you to hear us out. By replacing Vinay and Saakshi you are only hurting the show and yourselves. Please do not replace the main leads Ranbir (Vinay) and Rano (Saakshi) as they are the only Ranbir and Rano for us. If Vinay and Saakshi are replaced I will no longer watch the show.... and Im sure loads of people will agree with me.

A reply would mean a lot. Please keep this e-mail in mind before taking any decisions, Im sure you will not let the viewer demands go in vein.
