Upliftment? I do not think Indian women need upliftment, all they need is empowerment.

What I think about that? Its very tough. India was the motherland of the civilization who worshipped Women as the Mother, the ultimate, no other land, civilization; religion has done it or still does it apart from us. But then here only Women have faced atrocities and humiliation of worst sort. India perhaps is the only country which could boldly utter YATRA NARYANTA PUJYATE, RAMANTE TATRA DEVATA (God resides were a woman is worshipped ) and again India itself has said that a women should stay under her father in childhood, husband in woman hood and son in old age, just as an object. So you see, we have a unique situation.

But considering modern situation I do not think enough or I think rather nothing is done to enhance her empowerment, we are still feeding on what Vidyasagar and Rammohan has done. Hell, a country whose 45% population is women does not even have enough women representatives in Parliament and all we do is oppose women's bill there.

As far as wrong is considered, yes I think there has been a major wrong in our thinking when we want to say feminism. What exactly is feminism, there is no definition of t and some women really take the opportunity to do what they like

Ideally no one can empower you, they can cooperate with your initiative and its you in the end who can raise yourself.

Purvi

my question answerring them😳
1)why one shud know abt Ramayan, mahabharat or history of India n world

ramayan and mahabharat if not for anything just to read two beautiful stories

and history shud be read to know about the past, if you know about teh past, you can compare it with present and learn how to progress in future

2)women r cause of all wars-- do u agree with this statement. absolutely, all big wars have a strong woman behind it, it should not be taken as degrading, more like compliment

women=power, without power and strenght how can big things happen, when a war of teh massive extension like taht of ramayan or mahabharat happens it brings a massive change

ur views abt
Human Right : fundamental rights of a human being, a lot of fatheads deny it and its for you to fight and earn your rights

Human Duty : compulsory, i believe that god has brought every one of us with a sp aim and reason , be born , be healthy, to live is such a bliss, why not then repay HIM for that by performing your duty

Global warming something we did ,a dn we have to rip tehseeds we ahve sown

Wildlife extinctions an example of how greed overpowers our common sense, we r just endangering ourselves by endangering them

Importance of law its in you, none of us wanna abide by it, we r enforced to abide by it, its you to decide how to do, laws only pave the way for breaking them

Humanity : what is it actually? feeling for fellows, sharing soemthing to those who ahevn't are just our duties, its a shame that we have to coin terms to make people do these stuff.

Our duty for the country : must have, your country is like your mother. motehrland or the country where you are settling are just liek motehrs who atke care of you, feed you, give you a living, don't you have a duty to your mother? its a must

Religion to quote swami vivekananda: religion is the manifestation of the divinity in man,

nothing more i can say, its the ultimate thought .

Law is the salt of society. Every society has some law whether primitive or modern. We obey law not because we r enforced. it the normal habit of every civilised people

Let me now ask some funny questions. 😛

Tannistha,
Women have been doing many things, which once men did. But there is one aspect in which women are still lagging behind. You must have heard about road Romeos, Eve teasing. Do you think there should be road Juliets? Do you think there should be women, who indulge in Adam-teasing? Or, are there already such women?😆
