No, never, the old Ramayan was something new, now it's a remake.

I do think same.cause at the old Ramayana time we had only one channel doordarshan and everyone used to watch it but now days we have hundreds of channels so the viewers are distributed. 😕

I THINK BOTH THE RAMAYANS ARE VERY GOOD IN THEIR OWN PLACES.THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY COMPARISION BETWEEN THEM.👏I THINK OLD RAMAYAN WAS MORE POPULAR AS THERE WERE ONLY ONE CHANNEL AND IT WAS THE FIRST RAMAYAN SHOW EVER👏MERE GRANDPAA AUR GRANDMAA KO TO PURANI RAMAYAN ACCHI LAGTI HAI PAR WO NAI RAMAYAN DEKHNA BHI NAHI BHOOLTE.👏I THINK NEW RAMAYAN CAN NOT BREAK OLD RAMAYAN"S RECORD.I M NOT SAYING THAT NEW RAMAYAN IS NOT GOOD BUT I THINK BOTH THE RAMAYANS ARE VERY GOOD IN THERE OWN PLACES.AT THAT TIME OLD WAS THE BEST AND AT THIS TIME NEW IS THE BEST.👏
