mandodari charracter is one of my fav in ramayan. she has both the wishdom and emotions. she always gave gud advise to others. when meghnath left his last war with lakhsman in the middle after recognizing his real form to give advise to his father to undo his wrongs which ravana denied mandodari advised his son to leave his father and go to ram sharan jus as his uncle. because he should not side the false but indrajeet being a true pitrabhakt denied.

You know one thing I'v noticed, almost all the bad rakhas have really good, wise and beautiful wives than they are themselves! (but in ravan's case, he himself was very wise as his wife.).....whats more, their wives (who are rakshis themself) were very religious as well! mayb coz of that their husbands power used to grow day by day as well as their age!...coz of their pati-varata...wht say??

ya rimi ur right because of there tap and pooja there husbannd get lot of power even meghnad wife was sati so it was imposible to kill meghnad in war but lakshman and urmila sacrifise make lakshman so powerful that he kill indrajeet meghnad

U ppl might b knowing that but just in case , it beleived that Mandodari was frm a kingdom called Myarashtra ,this place ic beleived to b the modern day city of Meerut . 😊

And Ravan was basically from my hometown Ghaziabad 😊
