No, even in the earlier serial Guha testing Bharat is not shown.
I think Bharat's visit to Bharadwaj's ashram should have been shown, anyways....waiting for the video.

its: guha tested bharat's intension with three types of food:

fruits: satt guna: good intention

royal dinner: rajoguna: mediocre intetion

flesh,rotten food: tamoguna: bad intension

offcourse bharat chose fruit

now i remember---its not shown BUT

Guha says"the lord ate tubers and drank plain water and went to sleep on grass"

and then bharat says--how is it that the lord eats tubers and a mere servant of the lord will feast on a royal dinner--shame on such a servant for despicable is he; i shant eat anything until i meet my brother; and i shall walk barefoot to chitrakoot

then a song plays and thats when he goes to the rishi's ashram😊

as far as i remember from the DVD

Thanks Tan for the nice update. Since I am not able to watch any episode, the written updates help me a lot.
I wish they should have shown Bharat meeting sage Bhardwaj. Using the power of his askesis, Bhardwaj provided excellent hospitality to the entire army of Bharat.

Yes not only rishi Bhardawaj provides hospitality but also consoles the queens and Bharat saying that Ram's vanvas will bring solace to whole universe as such.
