| If rumours are to be believed then Ram and Sita of NDTV Imagine's Ramayan are married to each other both on screen and in real life as well. Ram essayed by Gurmeet Choudhary and Sita essayed by Debina Bonnerjee are reportedly said to be deliberately keeping a low profile and hiding their marital status. A source close to the couple says, "Gurmeet and Debina are married in real life. But they have been advised to keep this under wraps so that it doesn't harm their career and the show." When contacted Gurmeet Choudhary denied the rumours and said, "When you become a known face such rumours tend to crop up. Why would one hide his or her marriage? One cannot hide his or her marriage."
